Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Your details will only be disclosed outside of Allen Carr’s Easyway to our partners who help in the delivery of our services.

We obtain information about you when you contact us, for example:

What information do you collect?

The personal information that we collect will depend on your relationship with us. We will collect different information depending on whether or not you are already a client of Allen Carr’s Easyway but we may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as zip code, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers
  • Information provided via the facilitator’s pre-seminar assessment (e.g. Details of services you have received from us and your personal history regarding your issue)

The confidentiality of your personal information is important to Allen Carr’s Easyway. We make every effort to prevent unauthorised access to and use of information relating to the services received from Allen Carr’s Easyway and details shared with us as part of the facilitator’s pre-seminar assessment and seminar. In doing so, Allen Carr’s Easyway complies EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and with UK data protection law, including the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we do with the information we gather?

We may ‘process’ your information for a number of different purposes, which is essentially the language used by the law to mean using your data. Each time we use your data we must have a legal justification to do so. The particular justification will depend on the purpose of the proposed use of your data. When the information that we process is classed as “special category of personal information”, we must have a specific additional legal justification in order to use it as proposed.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We use the email address to contact you in advance of and after your seminar or commencement of online product.
  • We may use the phone number to contact you if there are any issues with the seminar or your attendance.

  • The information collected through the facilitator’s pre-seminar assessment is used solely by Allen Carr’s Easyway and the Facilitator’s in providing services to you and treated with strict confidentiality.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or post. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Generally we will rely on the following legal justifications, or ‘grounds’:

  • Taking steps at your request so that you can enter into a contract with Allen Carr’s Easyway to receive services from us.

How long do we keep personal information for?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary depending on the particular type of record under our retention of records policy. This is to ensure that information is properly managed and is available whenever and wherever there is a justified need for that information, including to support client care and continuity of care; to support our legitimate interests, and to meet legal requirements. In the case of information received from Essex Wellbeing Service we will delete the data no later than 18 months after it has been received including any data held in other locations.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Financial details provided by customers on this website are entered directly via Paypal, Stripe or other third party payment system and are not stored by Allen Carr’s Easyway.

How we use cookies
