Quit Smoking with One Simple Aid!

It’s great to see Jen Slack, writing on Emax Health, heartily recommending Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking method. Jen does so based on her own personal use of the method. She read the book, but of course there are Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking live seminars as well as an on-demand programme online.

Avoid “home remedies” – they actually make it harder to quit

Jen writes about how she stopped smoking easily and although she says the first month or so presented problems, with some cravings, it’s likely that this was due to her using other methods combined with Allen Carr’s Easyway. At the bottom of the piece there’s a link to some pretty awful advice about home remedies which “might help you quit”. In fact they’ll make it harder rather than easier…so disregard them at all costs. Aside from that Jen exclaims that she’s found the freedom from smoking to be “exhilarating” and that her confidence is “at an all-time high”.

Celebrity clients

Allen Carr’s Easyway is fortunate to have many, many celebrity endorsements from people who used the method to quit smoking and Ellen Degeneres is mentioned in the feature. Of course, Ellen famously quit smoking with Allen Carr’s Easyway and was kind enough to recommend the method to her millions of viewers across the world. Jen also mentions Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ashton Kutcher as former smokers who used the method and confirms that a great aspect of the programme is that it doesn’t “delve into any health-related information or offer any of the standard scare tactics that we’re all already well aware of”.

The method deals with the mental aspects of smoking

Jen goes on to say that instead of using scare tactics, the method “deals with the mental aspects of smoking. It helps us mentally prepare ourselves with truth – a cognitive therapy type of approach. It corrects wrong thinking. The truth is that smoking causes anxiety, relentlessly, in the form of a craving every thirty minutes. If that craving isn’t relieved, the anxiety increases tremendously with each passing minute.”

The feature goes on to say that the method is “full of examples, anecdotes and analogies that we can all relate to” and that the method “eloquently and efficiently removes the brainwashing that smokers believe” that leaves the smoker “convinced that when you quit smoking, you’re not giving up your best friend. You are ridding yourself of your worst enemy.”

Extra advice and guidance helps in the event that it’s required
