It was a pleasure to be invited to talk with Nicky Campbell on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning.

We discussed a new study which indicates more than a million people in England who have never regularly smoked are now vaping.

This represents a sevenfold increase since 2021. The UK vaping epidemic continues at a pace!

A host of callers into the show expressed their dismay at the way vaping has been allowed to enter the marketplace in the UK entirely unhindered by regulations that should have been in place to protect our children and young non-smoking adults from being targeted by the vape industry’s marketing machine.

It’s important for us all to understand, this hasn’t been a mistake or oversight on the part of the health service and medical establishment gatekeepers…but a deliberate act.

They waived the vaping industry onto our high streets in what can only be described as a nationwide social experiment conducted without the permission of the people.

Yes, there are valid arguments for the harm reduction aspect of vapes, but our children should have been protected from the influence of an industry that peddles its harmful products with a view to luring its customers into a lifelong addiction.
