Thank you to Mr. Carr’s Book EasyWay to Stop Smoking. I am 3 weeks a non smoker now and believe his method is what sealed the deal for me. I was ready to quit, but was still very afraid of withdrawals. I have had NONE after changing the way I think about smoking and my nicotine addiction, and I owe that to Mr. Carr’s method. I hope his family is comforted in the fact that his work continues to help people around the world! Thank you again from Houston Texas USA!

It is eight years since I stopped smoking after smoking for nearly twenty I read Allen Carr’s book once and knew I wasn’t ready. I read it twice and knew then that I would give up. I never looked back and feel a huge debt of gratitude to an extraordinary man. All I had to do was make up my mind. If you are reading this and feel exasperated that you cannot give up don’t stop trying. Making your mind up is simple… but it’s not always easy. Good luck!!!

Yippee! I’m a NON-SMOKER!
I am happy again ~ I can breathe again. And all this just by reading reviews about the book! I did get the book and read it too, but as a non-smoker. For 18 years I was brain-washed.
Thank you for the guidance and inspiration to being free again, and not just in regards to the smoking but every aspect of my life.

A little over a year ago I read your book and have not smoked since. I actually feel sorry for those who do and tell them about your book. Unfortunately I have not talked to anyone who has used it, if they only knew how EASY it is.
Best book I ever read and the best book I ever will.
Thanks

Cannot really remember how long i have quit for, about 3 weeks, but it makes no difference how long because I’ll be a non-smoker for the rest of my life.
Allen Carr, thanks for helping me be free from the jail that smoking is.
Woe the bitter irony of your death and bless your soul.

I smoked for 12 years and was arrogant about the fact that “i didnt want to quit!”. I was the guy who would flip the finger to anyone preaching, or trying to get me to quit.
I took my time reading your book and finished it after about 2 weeks. By the time i was about half way through the book, i already felt myself becoming a non-smoker!!
So when i finally finished the book i was thrilled to toss my last smoke away .. and it has now been 6 months without a single craving. I actually pitty those who still go for smoke breaks!
My hat is off to you, and i am sending everyone to this site.

I would have never believed it had I not done it myself. After more than 20 years of smoking, Easy Way helped me to lose my fear of quitting which was easily my biggest obstacle. I have been smoke free for a year! I am STILL elated every time I think about NOT smoking. There are no cravings – only happiness when I beam with pride at the power I have regained. I am excited to share, and I do share whatever I can about Easy Way with all those I meet who smoke. Then, every time someone asks me where to get the book, I just buy it for them because I believe in the program because it worked so well for me. It is a small price for such a large gift. I wish I could buy one for every smoker I know! Not a single craving, no association problems (I still LOVE my coffee) and I’m not the reformed smoker I feared I’d become.
I have often been asked to speak at local stop smoking programs and always mention this method and how positive it makes the whole process seem, rather than the negative I had feared.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You saved my life.

Thank God for Allen Carr….I never believed I could be a ‘non-smoker’ after having smoked for 28 years. But now, at age 46, I have my life back – and I feel so much better on so many levels. I get stronger and healthier everyday. I don’t know why I feared quitting and put it off for so long. Allen’s Easy Way is exactly that! I stopped smoking 4 weeks ago and I know that I will never want or need another cigarette again!

I have not smoked for a year now, mainly due to the inspiration that allen carr’s books gave. No one before had explained to me the complexities of the nicotine trap so accurately.I now realise the only way to quit successfuly is to understand how smoking works. Knowledge is your best weapon in your quest to be free, and the truth will set you free.My tip is to keep on reading ‘the only way to stop smoking permanentely’ if you are finding it hard sometimes as your mind absorbs and understands things you miss on the first read, as the addictive mind starts to heal.Once you have read and understood Allen Carr’s method you can never really be hooked into smoking again because you can never unlearn the knowledge you have!, so be happy and rejoice in this fact.and remember it is ok to think about smoking sometimes, some days alot with out having to start up again. Thinking about it is not a command to smoke. regards Richard.

I happened upon this book in the format of an audio book.
Stopping smoking had not even entered my head as being an option last week.
I listened to about half of it and had a few days off, since I knew it was going to help me stop I was starting to feel a little scared.
Two days later I listened to the rest of the book and hey presto, I smoked my last cigarette just over 48 hrs ago.
I truely never believed it could be so easy, especially since I hadnt really planned on stopping.
Thank you for making my life my own once more!

I bought a small book by Allen Carr a long time ago and that nearly inspired me enough to quit smoking. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to hide that book away (unconciously) and to pretend that I could quit another time. 2 years later I bought the full easyway book and it really opened my eyes to all of the lies that society, government and many other people would have you believe about smoking.
I am now FREE and feel fantastic. I cannot explain how grateful I am for the opportunity to stop smoking and really enjoy running!

I`d like to tell the world about the amazing stopping smoking method, which is Allen Carrs way. I smoked for 37 years. Tried to stop for 32 of them.Tried nicotine gum, patches, lozenges, nasel spray, herbal cigs etc etc. Then i was given Allen Carrs book Easyway to read.I must say i was very very sceptical. But i was desperate.I read it and it did enlighten me.but did not stop me .I knew though after reading it that i had found my cure. I then bought Allens the only way to stop smoking permantly, and have not smoked since.Only been ten weeks but I know it`s for life. Rest in peace Allan. Thankyou (ps my kids are over the moon)

My sister gave me the Easyway book to read. I knew I should stop smoking but wasn’t sure if I wanted to. I read the book anyhow thinking it might help. Well…........I couldn’t put the book down. I followed what Allen suggested thinking that it would be hard but worth a try. I continued to smoke throughout reading the book just as it said to do but found that it changed my way of thinking about smoking. It has been 5 days now since I was stopped with minimal urges to smoke, I can always change my thought process and do not miss smoking one bit. Thank you – I am really amazed at the effect this book had on my way of thinking.

I stumbled over Allen Carr´s Easyway book yesterday when I entered a stationary shop in order to buy a pen. It lay on top of a pile of reduced-price-books (?) right at the door. I took a copy of it, found the pen, paid and went home. I started reading immediately, went to bed halfway through, went on reading this morning and stopped smoking at noon.
I´m 55 years old, have smoked since I was 22 and have never tried to stop before. But I have had the thought that someday I will…AND THAT DAY IS TODAY!!!
Thank God I needed a pen yesterday.
PS
I threw away four packages of perfectly fine cigarettes and then realised that today is a day full of stress (it´s -20 degrees Celsius outside, inside it´s only +15 because the heating system malfunctions, I have work at the computer up over my neck and I will probably not be able to start the car) but the stress doesn´t seem to bother me?

Hi everybody! This is surely the happiest web page in the world!!! I gave up last July without the slightest effort thanks to Allen’s book. There is no way on Earth that I could have done this without the ‘de-brainwashing’ of the book. I have just realised that I have used the phrase ‘gave up’.....part of the brainwashing of course!!
I would just like to say that here in England at the moment there is a very expensive GOVERNMENT campaign on the TV to ‘help’ people to stop smoking. IT STARTS WITH A LIE!!....Something like: ‘If you’re a smoker, giving up is really hard’. Yes, it is if you use the government’s preffered method…...i.e MORE NICOTINE!!. Anyway, I must say that although I don’t think about smoking anymore, I do read this page every week. It sometimes brings a lump to my throat!!

Easy Way book was recommended to me by a colleague and her husband who used to, between them, smoke around 80 cigarettes per day until they read Allens’ book. Since reading the book neither myself or my partner have smoked and have no intention or desire to ever do so again. Allen changed the way we thought about cigarettes and inspired us to put an end to smoking. I am so grateful that my colleague told me about the Easy Way to stop smoking that I have now recommended it to several of my friends. God bless you all at Easy Way. x

I had a friend give me the Easyway book to read. I filed that book for a year and half before I picked it up and when I did – I truly had no intention of stopping smoking – at best I hoped it would give me strategies to cut down alittle bit. I continued to smoke throughout reading the book just as it said to do, and I laughed saying – yeah, as if I would stop just from reading this book…..but half way through I found that when I smoked all I felt was the little monster being fed…..and I felt like a slave to it! It has been 5 days now since I was freed and not even the smallest desire to smoke. Thank you – I am still too amazed to believe it is true. Allen Carr was truly a great man.

Yes! I’m a non-smoker again!
I started smoking at 19 y of age. Stupid stupid thing. I am now 32 and managed about 30-40 cigarettes a day and was all stressed out.
The EASYWAY was my way out.
I am telling everyone of this great book and the easy way to quit smoking – I wish someone would have told me about it long ago.
I couldn’t stop, even though my father, my aunt, grand mother and a close friend died of lung cancer and I was aware of what smoking did to me.
The last time, I tried the new pills, Champix, but I couldn’t stop completely – just felt sick all the time and was mad at my self for not quitting.
Then a coworker told me about the book, and I thought “well, why not” but wasn’t convinced at all that reading a book could help me find out more than I already knew.
I spent my sparetime reading it the next couple of days, and thanks to Alle Carr, I was proven wrong!
Life is so much better since I found out how it all works and I will recommend his books to everyone!
(Even my doctor was thrilled to hear about it and will recommend it too)

Mt friends can’t beleive it ! After 16 years of smoking I attended the Sydney day course in April 2006.
Never could I have imagined the way I felt when i left. I was hosting a party at my place the same evening and I was dreading even having a drink without a cigarette!!!! to my astonishment I left the course not only not wanting a cigarette but I am firm in the belief I will never smoke again. All this without even feeling like I’m depriving myself.
A friend of mine did it about 8 years ago and smoked within the first three months, at which point she was offered a refund or another session. She didn’t take the refund and has never smoked since. My only wish is that i listened to her sooner.
Its hard to imagine but you don’t even mind people smoking around you as the temptation just does NOT exist.
Do it today !!!

Hi
I have now been a proud non-smoker for almost four years thanks to the Allen Carr Easyway. I made the decision to stop smoking but feared that for the rest of my life the desire to do so would be a shadow over everything I did. This could not be further from the truth (and I drone on about this to anyone that will listen), thanks to Allen’s book I not only successfully became a non-smoker, I haven’t looked back since! It took away every excuse I had and made me understand that there is NO reason to smoke and once you wake up to the fact that society and countless other influences push you towards smoking for their own reasons – you will forever more look at smokers with pity….......and with a sense of bewilderment – why oh why would any sane person CHOOSE to do something so pointless that has only negatives to it.
Thank you

I am a 30 yr old female living in the United States. I had smoked for 15 years and thought I loved it all that time – sometimes even wanting to “eat” the cigarette because I thought I was so in “love”. I was extremely saddened while read “The Easy Way To Stop Smoking” and realize that in fact I was not in love with the Marlboro Reds but with the nicotine. I can’t believe I have been duped for so long! I had tried quitting some 6 years ago and it resulted in failure. If only I knew about this book then. I had already been sure I wanted to quit this time and set a date to do so. I only heard about this book the week before I was quitting. I thought what could it hurt to even just read it. I started reading the day after I smoked my last cigarette and when I was 1/2 way done with the book I was so excited! I felt great and positive and fearless about quitting. Everything in the book is correct. I was so afraid to even try quitting but now I am so glad I did and so glad for the “Easyway”. I have already ordered more copies of this book to give to smokers I know in my family. They don’t have to read it, but they might if they have it and that is worth it to me. I will not be picking up a cigarette again and I am so happy about it! I’m free! I am only on day 3 and people have already seen a change and have asked why I seem different. I told them why and am so proud of myself. I never thought it would be so easy. I am so upset that Mr. Allen Carr has passed on. I am so grateful to him and he did what nobody else has been able to do. Thank you so much. My life has been forever changed and you are the reason. Thank you for sharing with the rest of the world your secret. Rest in Peace.

I have smoked (apart from the year) since I was 14, I have just turned 30. I hated myself for smoking. Hated the smell and the stigma and am now very glad to be free of it.
I have found the first few days relativley easy. I am getting cravings but the book/dvd has told me how to deal with them. I am quite restless but am taking long walks to get a break from work.
Thanks again

First of all, I would like to express my sincerest, heart felt sympathies to the friends and family of Allen Carr at this time. I hope that he knows how many people has saved and will continue to save around the world.
I was a heavy smoker (60 / day) for years and have been freed from its slavery by reading ‘The only way to stop smoking permanently’. Since being liberated from having to smoke, I have felt excited, energized, inspired and elated. What’s more, it has taken absolutely no willpower and it has been, as promised, not only an easy, but joyful process.
I have noticed that my teeth have got whiter, my eyes, skin and hair have brighter, I have got slimmer (by quite a large amount). I actually enjoy sports (for the first time ever!), have more energy, confidence, stamina, strength and control. I am more relaxed and sleep better, just as Alan Carr described that he did. What’s more, this is not just an anomalous phenomenon, it is the norm, when using Alan Carr’s method.
I feel that smoking can be very well compared to the film ‘The Matrix’. Smokers most of their smoking lives are like the millions of people trapped, unwittingly in their pods by the evil machines. Their chances of escape are effectively zero because they are brainwashed powerfully that they are not in a prison and that they enjoy and love their ‘reality’, which of course is all a complete fabrication and lie. They also are totally unaware that they are actually in a prison, so have no desire to escape.
Allen Carr is like Neo, the one who has come to save all these smokers from their pod prisons and the brain programming that has kept them all slaves. I, like all the others on this page, am like those very lucky few who have been rescued and reprogrammed to accept the reality of smoking. I have been freed!
I feel overjoyed about my lucky escape and now not only believe that this really is THE only way, but, like Neo and his team, have a genuine desire to help others get free, and hear this message. Perhaps you can help me:
I am a cardiology nurse in the Amercian Hospital Dubai. I have just been recruited to the brand new Heart Center to set up nurse led clinics and cardiac rehabilitation programmes for patients with Heart disease or at risk of having a heart attack.
Because I want to make sure that this is effective, I dearly would love to either start an Allen Carr clinic here or be linked with one. I certainly show and recommend the book to every smoking patient that walks through these doors, as well as giving them a ‘post-it’ note containing the title/author.
I really think that the clinic’s services are needed in the UAE. Cigarettes and tobacco are really cheap here and smoking is not even socially unacceptable. People still smoke in shops / malls and a number of the native Arabs still don’t even know about the health risks of smoking!!
As a result, the incidence of Heart Disease is massive- hugely higher than UK or USA. I’m convinced that it is largely to do with high smoking rates. Not to mention huge teenager smoking populations.
Please would you be able to forward this letter to anyone that could help or talk to me about setting up a clinic here / training to set up an Easyway smoking cessation clinic, as I know it’s the only way to effectively help trapped smokers out of the pit!
Yours in hope,
Rosy Piper

My experience while smoking was a constant battle between temptation and quitting. Once I read The Easy Way to Stop Smoking, the revelation that helped me finally quit, was THERE IS NO TEMPTATION. Smoking is solely an addiction, nothing else. Nobody enjoys smoking cigarettes, the only joy is relieving the physical and mental “pangs” of nicotine withdrawal. Thanks for writing this life-saving book, for your life will live on within everyone who quit using the Easyway Method!

I was visiting my aunt a couple months ago, knowing that she has struggled for years with quitting smoking , I asked her is she was still smoking and she said no , You will no believe this but I read a book. I said let me guess … Dr Allen Carr’s easy way to stop smoking and she looked at me funny and said yes that is right … I just smiled and said ….me too …. Thankyou for allowing us to be free !! Kind Regards , CarlaJulia DeMatteo said,
Someone wrote to my local paper about the passing of Mr. Carr and that his book was instrumental in her no longer smoking. She wrote about the ease with which she stopped. So I ordered the book, read it, took my last three puffs (which ironically tasted horrible) and haven’t smoked in 2 1/2 weeks and not going crazy!!! in the process. Am eating a bit more but that’s okay. When I think of a cigarette I take a deep breath and the urge is gone. When I see actors smoking now I actually tell myself how sad that is and I remember the last three horrible puffs I have.
I am sure the tobacco associations very quietly pay some filmmakers to have their actors smoke. They have lots of money to give and I wouldn’t doubt that they quietly do this.
My blessings to Allen Carr and the legacy he has left. I will pass on the information about Easy Way to many people. Incidentally I am 72 years old and I wanted to say before I die that I don’t smoke. Thank you.

I wouldn’t be able to thank Allen enough for writing this book… I have been hooked on cigarettes since I was 12 years old. I’m 36 now. I’ve been trying to quit my entire life. I’ve tried everything; cold turkey, patches, gum, shots behind the ears, pills, hypnosis, tearing them up, buying one pack at a time, trying to cut-down, trying to limit myself to a certain # a day, trying to limit myself to certain time-period intervals…EVERYTHING I could think of. I’ve had so many failed attempts that I just stopped trying to quit. As a result, I smoked as much as I wanted which turned into 3 packs a day for almost the past 5 years. I saw actor Ashton Kutcher on Jay Leno and he said he “smoked so much that if there had been a contest for smoking… he was sure he could’ve won- but he quit after reading this book”. I couldn’t wait to get the book because I could’ve won a contest too. I was like a crack-addict… all I wanted to do was sit and smoke cigarettes. I wouldn’t eat; wouldn’t exercise; wouldn’t bathe sometimes; didn’t want to go places where I couldn’t smoke; missed visiting with friends and family so I could smoke outside instead… I read this book and quit! Just like that! It was completely effortless and instead of being cranky… I’m filled with absolute joy and delight. I’m SO happy to be free and breathing clean, fragrant air again- for the 1st time since I was 12! My husband still smokes (he hasn’t read the book) and it doesn’t even bother me a bit to see his cigarettes lying around or know that he’s outside smoking. It’s unbelievable to me… since I was THE hard-core smoker. My nickname had become “Smokasaurus”. I know I’ll never be a smoker again. And now I smell like a flower instead of a filled-to-the-brim ashtray. Can’t recommend this book enough.

I have only been a non-smoker for two days but it’s fantastic to feel the same way I remember feeling before I became a smoker. It’s gross! It controls you!
I love knowing these things and that I am winning. Every time I feel that little twinge begin a big smile breaks on my face because I know now that I am better than it.
Thank you thank you thank you. I bought another copy of the book and have sent it to a friend, I loaned my copy to my boyfriend and I have two friends asking me if they can borrow it afterwards. Hopefully they’ll get impatient and buy it!
I will continue to tell people about Easyway and how wonderful it is… probably for the rest of my (non-smoking) life. I’m so excited to start living again!

I wasn’t going to get the book i was looking at the keep fit books as i was hopeing to get in shape but some one must have put the book in the wrong place (was it fate or destiny). I’d heard all the storys about stop smoking books and all the “who har” that they spouted about hypnosis and willpower (somthing that i have little of) but flicking through it i saw the comic sketches and thought it was kinda cool then i started reding it, some how i found myself at the check out (can’t remember getting there) so i payed for the book and carried on home. I starrted reading on the bus and i couldn’t stop, i continued reading all the way home. This book made so much sense. It wasn’tabout willpower and patch this and gum that it was about logical and the sketches helped me understand. Where were you all those years ago. Well i chuked my packed and sure enough that monster is calling to get it out the bin “NO CHANCE” I’ve tried patches and gum and still hankerd for a smoke, now i know the cravings are good as it’s just that monster shriviling up inside me, and in a few days it will be gone,
Thanks allen i owe you
