Hi there,
I’d just like to say that after over ten years of being a heavy smoker and never imagining that I would be able to quit, I’ve now been smoke-free for nearly five years thanks to Allen Carr!
I have never been happier and healthier and have never been tempted to smoke since the day I had my last one.
I reccommend the ‘Easyway’ book to anyone that wants to give up and a few of my friends have also succeeded through this unique method so thanks Allen – you will be remembered for the amazing work you’ve done forever!

I finished the book this morning, and feel confident that this will work, the thought of smoking already makes me feel sick. Thanks.

I was trying yet again to stop smoking, I had smoked for 26 years. I struggled for two weeks with the ‘traditional’ methods of stopping smoking, utilised the QuitLine programme, nicotine patches, nicotine gum etc all to no avail, I still hadn’t managed a day without at least one cigarette. Then I discovered Easyway, got the book, read it in two days and the next day I was smoke free. I still can’t believe it, it was SO EASY, I feel great, I don’t ever want another cigarette in my life. All the other times I’d tried to stop but only managed a week or two, wanting to have stopped for good. This time, I just know I won’t smoke again. And the best part, two of my friends and my sister have stopped all from me telling them about “Easyway”.
Thank you so so much!

It is now almost 6 months since I attended Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking course – I am pleased to say that I have been successful, in that I have had no desire whatsoever to smoke another cigarette since: truly marvellous as I had made at least five attempts to stop smoking previously using nicotine patches and counselled by the NHS Stop Smoking courses. I feel all smokers wishing to stop the dreadful habit should enrol for Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking Clinic course.

Dear Allen,
I have finished reading your book and although I did know a lot of the things you said, I found your approach new.
I have just had my last roll-up cigarette. I rolled it, left my desk and went for a walk in the glorious sunshine (I live in Paphos, Cyprus). As I walked, I saw other people smoking and although I was puffing away on my fag, I did have a genuine feeling of pity for them. How sad they looked. For myself, I smiled, knowing that this was the last cigarette I would smoke. I finished my walk by throwing the remainder of my tobacco, with filters, papers and lighter into a big rubbish bin. What a wonderful feeling! I am now a non-smoker!
Thank you for your advise, I am now looking forward to a wonderful life – smoking – not worth it – seeing my son grow up and spending many wonderful moments with him – something to look forward to.
Thanks once again.
Nick

it is exactly 3 weeks now. i quit smoking. I finally did, after 23 years. I wasnt a very heavy smoker, but was very dependant. I abandonned any trial stopping smoking.
then i read the book…
though it is not based on psychanalysis, it works the same way. It shows you things you know but dont realise. It makes you face them with clearness and at a time you take the decision to stop smokimg with the same easiness you take your next breath.
the best thing is that is makes you independant while you are still a smoker, whereas others stay dependant years after they quit smoking.
Renaee said,
Once you get past the fear of reading Easyway you will easily became a happy non smoker. i thought i would never be able to stop smoking i was a complete slave to the cigarette but i am proud to say that i stopped smoking 7 months ago after being a smoker for nearly 14 years and i havn’t looked back. Reading Easyway is the easiest and the best decision i’ve made yet. Thanks Allen Carr.

Discussing with smoking friends… Yes, they are afraid to read the book. But also they are sometimes not clever enough to steer their life to safe pleasures avoiding nocuous ones. Allen Carr explained me how to steer, but one has to figure out by himself –where- to go using this new knowledge.

It’s almost been 1 and a half years since I quit smoking thanks to Allern Carrs book “Easyway to quit smoking for women”.
I could obviously not be happier, and still after all this time I get exited every time I hear someone is trying to quit smoking. I can’t help myself but to lift my chin a bit and tell them proudly about this unique easy peasy method to do it. No one believes me of course and so far no one has deared to pick up the book and read it…why I don’t know. I guess it’s either the fear of failur or the fear of how hard it’s been the previous times they tried to quit that puts them off from even trying.
Maybe they’ll soften to it one day when they see that I’m STILL a none smoker. :) To be honest, it feels like I never was one in the first place!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am most certainly not the type of person that would normally write a testimonial in the hope that it would be placed up on a website. I am often left wondering about the genuinity of testimonials. Having worked in sales for over 10 years I realize their power; they take a potential customer over the bridge to part with their money. They hold the consumer by the hand and lead them into a safe place where the buyer is happy to part with their money.
I am writing this testimonial for one reason, and one reason only; to let every single reader know that after trying methods beyond belief I finally found the method that worked, a method that came with no post-quit cravings. On Saturday the 28th of April 2007 I drove out of the parking lot of the Red Cow Hotel (having attended an Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking Seminar) in the confident knowledge that I would sooner eat a bag of coal than light up another cigarette, and a bag of coal was a mouth watering notion in comparison to smoking a cigarette.
So why do I write a mere 7 days later with such confidence? Surely I should wait 1 year before I can truly claim to be off the Cigarettes, they would have you believe. What if I have a re-lapse? Would such a testimonial cause me to have egg on my face? I was always made believe that cigarettes were difficult to quit, so any attempts were preceded with an expected failure. The simple fact is that I didn’t “wait” 7 days to write this. I didn’t allow myself 1 week’s trial run to test and see had I become a non-smoker, before going public on the matter. I would have written this testimonial the minute I left the seminar had I not been too busy celebrating my return to normality. I would have logged into my email account and told the world had I not been too busy out jogging with my delighted fiancé, enjoying the sounds and smells of the summer.
Unfortunately none of my old smoking friends were as happy, because it bothered them to see how easy I had found things. All of them had publicly or privately attempted to “give up” smoking, all had failed. They all hated the very thing they believed they loved; cigarettes. Many had reached the point where moral conscious and chest pain had conjured up the whim full desire to take Monday morning by the horns, and quit. None had quit with the mindset that they were saying goodbye to a genuine enemy however. Nostalgia kicked in by Wednesday, and by Friday the sinking ship was fully manned with a captain and crew. I had heard one of my friends had managed to stay strong, but he was nowhere to be seen. As it turns out he refused to go out socially for fear of relapse. What was plainly obvious was that the caption and crew of the sinking ship, and the man-over-board who was still clinging to a floating barrel of will power were all having their lives controlled by Nicotine. We had on one hand a group of smokers that had re-lapsed due to nostalgia, and on the other hand we had a poor soul depriving himself of a well deserved pint for fear of relapse. His mood was so fowl even his non-smoking girlfriend suggested he ought to go back on the smokes. Now we see that even non-smokers are brainwashed into thinking that a cigarette serves some sort of positive purpose.
In amongst all of this I calmly enjoyed my beer, felt sorry for my friends but had an amazing sense of happiness that I had my whole smoke-free life ahead of me, and that doors of opportunity would open up due to loosing the nicotine addiction. If you attend an Allen Carr seminar, open your mind and truly listen to what the clinic tutors tell you, you have no choice but to walk out of the clinic a non-smoker. Additionally I had read the book 2 years ago to no avail yet the seminar still worked. That is noteworthy for smokers in the same situation. Learning is triggered in so many different ways, and if the book doesn’t work it doesn’t mean the seminar will fail. I went from 20+ cigarettes per day to zero, I had no cravings, only memories. I am reminded of times I would dip into my pocket for a stick of woodbine, but it’s only a memory. It makes me smile. It’s almost like having a very bad flu and getting better. When you are fully recovered you may be reminded of the bad flu you had, but you’re left with a positive feeing of thankfulness that you’re over that ill feeling. You would no more want to go back and smoke as you would wish for that flu to revisit your immune system. The poor soul using will power is convinced he is missing out on a treat. I, however, am convinced and fully happy that as a result of loosing the disease of addiction I have the rest of my life to enjoy in health. I have stopped doing something that I know I never enjoyed, so I can’t crave it. I’m not substituting with food because I’m not feeling a vacuum.
Try it folks. Just try it. Beyond a shadow of a doubt the best decision I have ever made. It doesn’t take 1 year off the smokes to convince yourself that you are a non-smoker. All it takes is a small amount of invested time to learn the truth behind the illusion of smoking. If you believe the truth over the illusion you will walk out of the Allen Carr seminar a non-smoker who will never have to deal with cravings again.

I went to an Allen Carr session in London in 2001. I had smoked for 20 to 30 cigarettes a day for over 14 years and hadn’t tried to give up once despite wanting to.
I walked out of the session worried that I would “want” a cigarette. For the next month my only problem was a fear that I would “want” a cigarette but it never happened.
Shortly afterwards, I went through a bad patch for a few days and afterwards realised that not only had I not wanted to smoke but I didn’t even think about smoking!
That’s all seven years ago now and I can quite confidently say that I will never smoke again.
I just want to say thanks.

Listen..I wasn’t even going to stop. I just happened upon SCANDAL, read it, watched the Richard and Judy appearance and a few other television shows, and last night I was out drinking and everybody, literally everybody, was smoking, I even had a packet of Gauloises in my bag, looking all attractive, and I left them where they were. Just didn’t want them. Really didn’t want them, felt sick of the thought actually lighting one of them. Hey, I do not agree with everything Allen said, but God did he hit the nail on its head more than once.

Hi Guys,
I would like to thank Allen Carr and the team at EasyWay for writing and publishing this book. You guys are doing Gods work!!
As soon as I received the book in the mail I could not put it down. A friend of mine quit smoking recently after reading the book, I wanted to know what the magic secret was, of course there is no magic, NO illusion, just common sense!
I know that I can’t thank Allen Carr personally but if he is looking down on me I’m smiling up at him!
I have smoked a pack a day for over 20 years, I hated smoking and could not wait to finish a cigarette as soon as I had taken a few drags, I wanted my fix and be done with it. I also always carried a pack of mint gum to try and freshen my breath afterwards but knew it did not help much. I’ve tried to quit twice before using patches and gum… what an idiot!! Taking the same drug that I was trying to quit.
I had also received a book from my doctor suggesting ways of meditation to use my subconscious to quit. Written by esteemed doctors I’ll bet that they didn’t smoke a damn cigarette in their lives. What a crock that book was. I think I read about the first 15 pages.
My wife kept nagging me to quit and found it hard to kiss me because I smoked. My daughter is two and half years old, I want to see her grow up and didn’t want a smoking father to be her first role model for a man. The guilt I had trying to hide the fact that I was a smoker was huge.
I have been a non-smoker for over a week now and although I get the odd craving I have managed to fight them, I keep reminding myself of the wonderous things that will happen to me if I do not “pick up” (quoting from a wee book by Bill Wilson).
This morning I cycled up a hill near where I live on my way to work, as I cycled I noticed that I was not out of breath. I was grinning like a Cheshire cat when I got to the top. Normally I would be huffing and puffing. I can definitely attribute this to stopping smoking.
This book is THE NO B****X BOOK. Take the bull by the horns and get on with it. Thanks again.
Padraic McGrath, Munich.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW RELIEVED I FEEL!
I was a smoker for 7 years and recently became quite ill. Doctors thought it could be whooping cough or glandular fever, I was getting worse and worse. What made it worse, I wasn’t listening to my body – I continued to smoke! This went on for 4 weeks, when one night I ended up in the doctors clinic unable to breath. I was put on the nebulizer to control my breathing – that was my wake up call! I was going to STOP this endless and detrimental cycle that I have been putting myself through! I began on patches, and 11 days later discovered Allen Carr’s Easyway. I have since gone two days without patches and so much as a thought of having a cigarette. Honestly, I don’t understand how I have put myself through so much torture, unhappiness and will be forever greatful to Allen Carr and his mission to prove to the world what a mistake the world of smokers is making! Thank you and god rest your soul Allen.

Hi All
I haven’t had a cigarette in 8-ish years thanx to the most wonderful book ever written – ‘The Only Way’ My God all those years I was told that quitting was hard, that the cravings would drive me insane – What a load of garbage. There is currently an ad for Nicotine gum which tells smokers that the cravings will be so bad without their product – Any blinkin’ wonder people are scared to even try.
I gave my copy of ‘The Only Way’ to a number of people who have all quit. My problem is getting people to read it, the advertising that this company still allows is keeping people smoking.
I have even written to the Gov’t to express my thoughts and got a response to the effect that the Gov’t knows what it’s doing and to mind my bees wax (not wuite in those words)
Anyway, I hope more and more smokers find this book and the release it offers.
Warm regards

Firstly, thank you so much and many condolences for your loss of Allen.
I must admit I was very pesimistic when I bought the book in January and I finished reading it feeling apprehensive and nervous that I would fail.
I have quit after 7 years of smoking. Its been three and a half months, which doesn’t sound long when its written but for me it is ages. I really feel and know that I will never smoke again and I feel like I haven’t smoked for years.
The book has given me a perspective and realisation which I already knew deep down but hadn’t quite grasped. This book made these facts unavoidable. It is the most amazing book. I have been a complete fool for all those years, but now I wake up feeling free of worry for my health!
I cannot express mine and my family’s (who have begged me to stop for years)gratitude for such a simple and easy process, which I never ever believed was possible.
For anyone who is reading this thinking its all a big con/ won’t work for you and its just too good to be true. Believe it. GO AND BUY THIS BOOK.
If only the NHS stopped spending so much money on the “Quit Smoking” plan and just advertised Allen Carr’s amazing work!
With best regards,
Fiona (Aged 25)

I think the only thing that aggrivates me is people who won’t read the book because they are afraid. They are afraid of success and afraid of failure….That was me too! If I had a million dollars to give to every person I know who smokes who agreed to just READ IT, and read it, I’d die a happy person because I would be guaranteed to know I contributed to at least one more happy person! Yee Harrr – 1 hour after posting the last comment to you (“on the way”) – I read the final few pages of Allen’s book and put out my final cigarette. I waited – nothing. 24 hours went by. Not one single urge to smoke! Can you believe it – after being so scared. Now two weeks have gone by and I have been in a dozen situations where collegeues were lighting up and urging me to do so too. I haven’t the faintest urge to – and instead end up telling them about easyway. 30 years I was caught in that trap – not one day without a cigarette in all that time. Why was I so scared – Allen you were a genius. And I will NEVER – EVER forget how I felt that day – and I will never be in that trap again or that scared again –
God will bless you Allen

Hello there, and thank you very much for continuing the Great Initiative started by Allen Carr. I also found out only today that he died last year. What a Fantastic Living Role Model for all of us. Even recently I was watching documentary on ABC about Allen Carr, and was amazed how down to earth and simple and modest this man is.
I’ve bought book 3 years ago and start reading, but English being my 2d language (first is Russian)I was soon tired up to translate every second word on the page. And even I’ve read most of the book it didn’t make any sense. May be you need to be ready??? Finally, this year 2007 in March, I told myself it’s time to quit with the book and I’ve re-read it again, this time very slowly, outloud and because most of translation was done before it was easy to read. Now it’s 6 week of being FREE and it’s absolutely INCREDIBLE.
I’ve tried for 3 years using different methods, spending thousands of dollars on cigarettes and cure – all at the same time. Patches, Hypnotherapy, Laser Method, other Clinics – nothing helped. I started thinking that I was born a Smoker and will die as one or something inside of me very evil that prevented me from stopping. I am so Greatful to Allen, his Website and people who continue his work.
P.S. I really would like to get a copy of book in Russian. Any Suggestions?
P.P.S. Also in his book “Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Stop Smoking” Allen revealing so many symptoms that will improve physically, I’ve also wanted to add that when you wake up in the morning – I use to have a lot of clogs in my eyes and ears. When I stop smoking they totally disappear.
