I attended your Allen Carr stop smoking clinic in Birmingham in the summer of ’07. I really wanted it to work and found the session day really helpful, I came out feeling great, the session is really positive and fills you with the same feelings.
I will be honest I did keep smoking after but cut down dramatically, I then went back for a second session and have not had a cigarette since. GREAT!!!!

I was a 60 a day smoker. The Easy Way made me stop over night 5 years ago and I haven’t missed smoking for a second. If I survive my habit which stuck with me for 23 years it’s all because of Allen Carr, may he rest in peace. I’m so embarrased I read a xeroxed copy. But I’ve bought it for other people since.

I gave up smoking thanks to Allen Carr (after reading his book a number of times). The key to me giving up was Allen’s hugely poignant observation that unless you chain smoke, there is no point in smoking at all! This, as well as the other simple but positively motivational aspects of his ‘method’ helped me kick my disgusting and dangerous 20-a-day habit. It helped to drastically change my thoughts about smoking – even during those difficult alcohol-fuelled moments! The sense of freedom I feel now about NOT having to smoke is far greater than any feeling or withdrawal I got from nicotine. If you can read, you can stop! :)

Just a quick note to let you know – I can’t believe I am still free! I went to an Allen Carr’s Easyway Clinic nearly a year ago now and had smoked 30-40 a day for over 50 years. When I arrived at your clinic I thought there would be no chance of me never smoking again. I am not only free and happy with it, but as you said I would, I have actually lost weight rather than putting it on, and it took no willpower at all either! I tell everyone I know that smokes to go and see you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Best wishes

I attended Allen Carr’s Easyway Clinic in Birmingham on Saturday, and just wanted to let you know that I consider myself a non smoker now!! I’ve done all the things I would normally do in my life, such as working, going to the pub, lounging in front of the TV etc, but without touching another cigarette. I was so sceptical about the course and my ability to stop smoking that I am absolutely gob smacked that it’s worked for me, with hardly any effort. I feel great about being a non smoker and just wanted to thank you!!

I’m currently 24 and started smoking when I was 18. I became so depressingly reliant on the cigarette that I just couldn’t see a way out of it. I had tried so many times to quit, even trying nicotine replacement therapy but continued to fail, until finally the Easyway book came into my possession. What do you know, I’m a non-smoker!! 3 weeks and going strong, not even the slightest desire to light up. Thanks very much!

I have been “smoke-free” for over a year now. I’ve tried all methods – you name it – patch, meds, etc.
Who would have thought that a book (audiobook) would do it for me.
I have no cravings or desire to smoke. I had a dream once that I was smoking a cigarette. I considered it a nightmare. Thank GOD it was only a dream. I do not see myself ever starting up again, thanks to the Easy Way. I’ve recommended it to everyone I come across who have verbalized that they want to quit. They often ask me how – then I go into my spiel about the Easy Way. I am so happy that I am a non-smoker!!!!

I had posted a comment back in January and I was on day 3 of quitting. Well, it’s been 10 glorious months now and I’m still free! I’ve won the battle! In the beginning it was hard I will admit -but I kept referring to the book and finally understood why I had been smoking in the first place. Nicotine addiction! Thank you again Allen Carr. I tell people on a regular basis about this book and how Easy it was to quit. I am so glad I’ve chosen to not smoke. I feel younger than I have in years. My energy is up, my skin looks great – there are so many advantages to not smoking. I know it would not have been so easy if it weren’t for this book. Thank you !!!

My family is almost smoke-free because of reading the EASYWAY book. Thank you for the confidence and knowledge that smoking is unnecessary to enjoy life.

I started smoking 17 years ago and despite numerous attempts using all kind of methods including patches/gums/acupuncture/hypotherapy I had never found the willpower to stop my daily 30/40 cigarettes.
After my GP recommended the Easyway, it took me 6 months to read the first 20 pages of the book and one saturday to read the rest. It was a revelation but I was so scared of failing again that I booked an appointement at the Raynes Park clinic on the 6th November 2007.
Since that day my health has improved to a point that I feel and look 17 years younger again ! Most importantly I really feel good with my friends, my family and even my work. I love it !
On this special day, I wanted to give a big Thank you to Allen and his team, you gave me a new life and I will never forget. Thank you

Cheesy name. The book looks like a joke. He uses ALL CAPS a lot, and repeats entire passages. And then I finished the book a few days ago, put out the cigarrette, no problem. No nic fits, no hot flashes, or sweaty palms. This is awesome. I don’t want a cigarrette. I’m never going to smoke again.

When I picked up your book I was pregnant. I had tried everything else and my husband was getting very angry with me.
In desperation I purchased your book and right up until the last page I did not think it would work. However, when I closed the covers for the last time, something happened…I quit.
I am now 9 weeks pregnant after giving up at one week and couldn’t be happier – and my husband is now talking to me again!!!
I’ll be forever grateful – thank you.

Hello. My name is Irina. I live in the far Ukraine. I am 21 years old and started smoking about 6-7 years ago! That is awful as I am a girl and I started ruining my life being so young. In Ukraine there is nothing more easy than to start smoking. A pack of cigarettes cost around a dollar and you can buy 1 cigarette for about 5 cents! So and I was involved in this human-killing process. But 2 mounths ago I read the Easy way to give up smoking and on the 23-d of September I put out my last cigarette and since that day I haven’t even touched any! I just want to thank You for saving my life. Now I gave your book to my mother and try to persuade all my friends to read it. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. You are doing a very wonderful thing.

I’m a 43 year old female and I’ve been smoking since I was 17 years old. I’ve attempted to quit several times using nicorette, nicotine patch and cold turkey. I was successful in quitting once for over 3 years using the gum and the other attemps never lasted any longer than 6 months.
Quitting has never been easy.
I have been changing my lifestyle since the summer, lost 22 pounds and changed my diet and exercise. Smoking didn’t fit in my lifestyle anymore but I just couldn’t find the right time to do it. There was never a right time. I was looking at books trying to find one that may help and came about the easy way book. I’ve never heard of it and I was very sceptical. I had developped a smoker’s cough and was really not pleased with myself. I finally decided to slowly read the book (that way I could smoke longer) and it took me about 3 weeks to read it. I was never really convinced about quitting the whole duration of the book. I timed my last cigarette in the pack with the last chapter of the book.
It’s been 8 days and I haven’t smoked since. I listened the the audio CD that came with the book and even tho I wasn’t convinced about quitting, I keep thinking about the reasons why I would even light up again. I now understand Allen Carr’s easy way, there is no pleasure in lighting up, there is no crutch. Cigarettes bring nothing in my life but filth and addiction and hardship.
I’m free!
Thank you Easy way!!!

Hi,
I attended a session at the Birmingham Allen Carr’s Easyway Clinic held by Robert Fielding.
I have tried the Allen Carr method in the past and the message cannot be any clearer. I personally let myself down years ago in a moment of drunkeness.
This won’t happen again. I went to the pub straight after for a bit and didn’t even want one !
The missus is dumbstruck and i’m e-mailing this as a happy free man.!!!!
I appreciate in life certain things are important and being a drug addict ain’t one of em !
Rob was brilliant at delivering a message I had to hear once more.
Keep freeing people

Fantastic! In June 2006 I was 40 years old and smoking 40 cigarettes a day. I attended a one day course in London and haven’t had a cigarette since. I cannot explain exactly why it worked or how easy it was but am now spending all my money on facials, manicures and a new car!
I had tried everything in the past and had a few short spells yearning for a cigarette but now genuinely believe I will never go back. If you are hesitating about trying this, please don’t. What have you got to lose?

I purchased the Easyway book a couple of years ago. I read the book and stopped for a week but then I started again. I repeated this a few more times until finally I almost gave up on quitting! I couldn’t understand why I could feel so elated about quitting after I had read the book and then I could start again so easily. I consider myself to be an intelligent woman so you can imagine my frustration at the fact that there was something I was not understanding! I decided to read the book one more time. This time I read it slowly and I wrote down important points and highlighted passages that I felt I had to “get into my head”. It was then that I finally realised that I had removed all of the associations with smoking, except for one. Once I recognised the particular association, understood it, and removed it, I was finally free! I also found it helped to keep the book with me as well as my personal statement so that I could refer to them when needed. Please don’t misunderstand me – I still believe that this is the only way and the easiest way to stop smoking. Please believe that if for some reason it doesn’t quite “sink in” the first time that you should not give up on quitting! It took me a few goes, but i did it! It is totally worth it because you just feel so amazing. Best wishes to a anyone who is reading the book or watching the DVD in their quest to be a non-smoker.
Kimberley.

On October 10, 2006, I quit smoking. I have been smoke free ever since. I had been a pack a day smoker for over 16 years. I was 32 years old when I quit. After reading Allen Carr’s EasyWay, quitting smoking was the only decision I could make. Fortunately, Allen helped make that decision simple, immediate and pain free! Dr John Tickell says “It is impossible to be intelligent and smoke at the same time.” The only thing I ever need to remember about smoking is that “the first cigarette will kill me”. Thanks Allen – stopping smoking has changed my life. I’m happier, healthier, more vibrant and energetic. My inner voice is positive, confident and assured. Allen’s book only costs 2 packs of cigarettes (here in Australia) and they could be your last!

I just wanted to pass on a very huge THANK YOU to Allen Carr for his book, “Easy Way to Stop Smoking”. A work mate of mine also stopped smoking at the same time after reading Allen’s book and how fantastic it has been to have a mate on the same journey.
I’m 37 y.o and was an obsessive smoker. I never, ever thought I would ever stop smoking – thought it was my best buddy. What a pleasure it was to kick the habit on my first attempt. I spent the first hour or so at work in the sick bay, crying like a baby and curled up in a foetal position – its now a hilarious story that I tell my friends at barbeques!
When I finally did make the decision that I really had to stop due to the fact that I could feel my health deteriorate, even at a relatively young age, the book was just the last bit of inspiration I needed.
I may be a clothing size bigger, but at least:
1.I don’t smell like an ashtray;
2.My fingers are a lovely colour;
3.My teeth are white again;
4.I can breath deeply and laugh loudly without a raspy sound in my chest;
5.My skin has a healthy glow;
6.The wrinkles under my eyes are due now only to normal ageing;
7.My mum is so very, very happy and proud. As are my wonderful friends.
8.I have discovered many fabulous hobbies – Arabic and African drumming, reading, cooking, nature adventures.
9.I have learned the art of relaxation (without the desire for smoking)
10.I have formed wonderful friendships with beautiful people who I was too embarrassed to be around before because of my filthy habit (they are all non-smokers)
11.Feeling free from the addiction to that horrendous weed!!!
I will be celebrating my 6 month anniversary as a non-smoker on Wednesday, 21 November and what a wonderful feeling that is!!!
So once again, a mighty big thank you!!!

Hei Allan,
Your book is brilliant. It has helped me twice already, but this time I have absolutely taken my last sigarette. The urge has gone away now after 4 weeks. And you were right, it was really easy compared to what one thinks. But I still have nightmares that I’m smoking. I recommend you book to all my smoking friends. The only thing I missed in your book was a chapter for hash smokers who wants to quit nicotin.

What an amazing achievement! I’m 19 years old and I started smoking when I was just 16. I suffered infection after infection in these 3 years but I was never able to stay cigarette-free. An ex-smoker friend of mine recomended me the Easyway book and I couldn’t wait to put out that last cigarette! I’ve already been a week free and I can’t believe the change in myself, Allen was right – life is much more enjoyable without that poison in your lungs.
I only today read that Allen had passed away last year due to lung cancer – it came as a shock indeed. His death from a smoking related disease has only acted as further motivation to spread his word & fulfil the vow I made with that last cigarette. He’s an inspiration and his legacy will live on. Thankyou Allen for making all the difference!!!
