After 16 years of smoking I have discovered that not smoking is much more interesting! Never thought the book would work on me, but IT DID! It was indeed the easiest way to quit – I just stopped wanting to smoke after finishing the book. That simple. Hopefully, for good. Thanks so much for saving my life!

Absolutely incredible is what I have to say!
As a smoker of 36 years, and wanting desperately for the last 20 of those years to be an ex-smoker, I struggled to stop and used patches, zyban, etc etc and could not even THINK about stopping without crying…
Well, I am SOOOOOO happy to report that I stopped smoking alright! My last cig was Monday Sept 10th 2007 in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons, coffee in hand, cig in the other and 10 pages of the book to read. Well, I finished at 8:45am and that was my last cig…it truly was easy and absolutely pleasurable – I can hardly believe it.
The combination was cracked for me – I am so grateful to Mr Carr and his method.
I purchased the book for a long-time friend who had the same track record and desire to stop as I – and he too has stopped for ever.
I can’t say enough about the book – I tell everyone about it – and those around me still can’t believe I have stopped! Sometimes I pinch myself! It is truly remarkable.
What a lifesaver Mr Carr is…blessings to his family and RIP Mr Carr – you are so loved here on earth – we won’t ever forget you!!! xoxoxox Carol

Well after 30 years of 40 cigs per day, not giving up when I was pregnant, nor when my father passed away with lung cancer, I am finally a non-smoker. thanks to Allen Carr’s Easyway one day seminar. I am still on cloud nine, 8 weeks after the even, not once have I wanted or craved a cig, no withdrawal just lots of smiles. The best thing is not only have I got my life back, but I am not a reformed smoker walking around with my soapbox. I had two friends stay with me for a week, both smokers, and I had no probs sitting having a drink with them whilst they smoked, nor was I ever tempted to even pick up a cig. Pretty good for a 30 year drug addiction. So I KNOW THIS WORKS. Thank you for my life.

I’ve just stopped for the 2nd time with Allen Carr. My first attempt went belly-up when I forgot the “no such thing as one cigarette” rule after 5 months. This time I used the book and, although not as easy or quick, it’s done the job. I also had to force myself to finish reading it and now I’m once again one of those painfull “holier than thou” ex-smokers although I can empathise with those TERRIFIED smokers. If you’re thinking about it, buy the book. No-one will know if you decide to keep smoking after reading it.

18 years of smoking 20+ per day- trying at least 8 times to quit, then I came accross your book through a friend and had my final cigarette at the end happily. I hit the magic 3 weeks today and know I will never smoke again. I thought about cigarettes but never craved for them, and can honestly say Yipee I’m a Non-Smoker! Thank you Allen and those who continue your work for simplifing and resolving nicotine addiction! Will be passing on the message in Australia!

My daughter told me about Allan Carr’s book. I finally purchased the book after about 3 months of nagging. I had been a smoker for 20 years and tried to quit several times to no avail. I would be so frustrated and finally would break down and buy a pack. It has been six months since I read the book and I can honestly tell you I would never smoke again. I have no desire for a cigarette, even if someone is smoking by me. It was the easiest thing to quit ever. Thank you.

Dear Natalie Clays
First and foremost I would like to thank Allen Carr for saving my life and, hopefully, thank you in advance for saving the lives of the people I love.
I am 27 years of age and I have smoked since I was 15. That’s 12 long years of being conned into the trap!
I stopped smoking and released my self from the trap on the 25th February 2008. I have completed 3 wonderful months of nicotine free euphoria. I also know for a fact that I will never smoke ever again and it’s all thanks to Allen Carr’s EASYWAY TO STOP SMOKING.
I was saddened to hear of Allen’s passing, my thoughts and regards go to his family and friends. He has saved the lives of millions of people and exposed the scandal of today’s society that smoking really is. I recently read Allen’s posthumous book Scandal and agreed with every single word of it. I have no doubt that Allen’s work will continue long after his tragic death.
Thank you Allen Carr

I’ve just smoked my last cigarette – for the 2nd time. I stopped for 15 years when I read ‘The Book’ first time around. But I fell into the trap – which is mentioned in the book – that you think you’re immune. This time it won’t happen becuase I KNOW how tricksy the nictoine monster can be.
No more feeling guilty, outcast and completely without energy! Hurrrah

I have smoked 20-30 a day for the past 10 years. I am only 32 years old. I had a terrible cough but thought that I really enjoyed smoking – so why would I quit? I was given a lot of self help books when I did a life skills correspondence course about 7 years ago. I finally cleaned out my book case and came across Allen’s book Easy way to Stop Smoking. I read it and I became a non- smoker, just like that. I never believed it could be so easy. I have never felt better and happier. Now my book is in hot demand with most of my family and friends. Thank you so much.

I was a smoker for 16 years and tried many times to quit using patches, gum, lozenges and the fake plastic cigarette and none of these methods worked for me, I always returned to smoking after a short spell of going out my mind and punishing myself and everyone round me, easyway is the only way, I cannot believe I am a non smoker and found it so easy when previous attempts were absolute torture. The governments of the world should open their eyes and ears and start implementing this method if they truly want to help people stop smoking or maybe they make too much money from smokers for them to really want the problem sorted, if so they should really be ashamed. I know I will never smoke again, thank you Allen Carr.

Life is for living and I don’t want to miss out on anything again. I am FREE!!!

On behalf of myself and those dearest to me, thanks.

I read the Allen Carr Easyway book about 12 months ago after i had been recommended it by a friend whom it had worked for.
I was quite excited about the prospect of being a non smoker but as all of us are i was concerned about that inbetween stage.
Disapointingly it did not work for me, i felt the same as with my previous attempts.
After another 12 months i finally did as the book had said and re-read the whole book, in the hopes that it would work for me as it had so many other people and it was just that something had not jelled in my mind.
I must say that it has been 2 days now and i know this is not a long time but it is the best i’ve ever done. when i have ‘given up’ previously i have continued to have one or two a day but have found this unnecessary.
I feel better already and hope it will continue.
Thank-you

This book has changed my thinking about smoking. Talk about a 180 ~!
I had smoked for 25+ years about a pack ½ pr day. Now I am smoke free over 3 months of freedom from the nasty addiction. I do not feel like I am missing out on anything in quitting this time. This is the longest I have ever quit after many many failed attempts over the past 5 years!
It worked for me and it can work for you too.

I just want to thank you so much. I finished the book yesterday, had my last smoke and I knew that would be it. I am so grateful for your book. It all just fell into place, no cravings, no need or desire to smoke. One of the girls at work gave up through willpower (or should I say is trying) she has cravings, chews gum and is not at all happy, and that has been going on for a week. I do think about smoking, but I just remind myself of how wonderful it is not to be addicted to that terrible nicotine anymore.
I can not thank you enough, honestly.

I had smoked from a very young age and always thought that I would never be able to ‘give up’. I read the book and 1.5 years later I am a VERY happy non-smoker. i’ve been trapped by nicotine addiction since i was eleven years old. i am now forty two years old and free at last thanks to reading easyway. the revelation that smoking is a cynical tax tool used by our governements who tolerate the drug peddling tobacco companies helped me break free this time. the ineffective health camaigns and warnings are merely there to protect the death dealers from law suits. state sponsored genocide for financial gain. thank you for opening my eyes and helping me escape.

Hi there, i just want to announce that i was given the Easyway to stop smoking book by my wife as she was concerned about my smoking. I read it and after 35 years of being an addict I can now say that I am a non smoker and it feels fantastic. It was so easy i never imagined i could stop. Its one month now and i know that i will not need to puff or want another cigarrete.
I do get the occasional pang, but after reading the book , you know what to do when you get the feeling.
I have now decided that instead of anything else i will buy my loved ones the bOOK FOR THEIR BIRTHDAY OR CHRISTMAS. Or persuade them to buy it them selves.
It is the first time since i was 14 that i have experienced life without smoke or nicotine around me. I must say the feeling is non comparable.
Highly recommend to all smokers do it and you will feel freedom.
good luck

In June 2005 my partner and I attended an Allen Carr session in Oxford. We’d both been committed smokers for over 15 years and had never really tried to stop smoking before. It would be fair to say that I smoked about 30 cigarettes a day and thought I enjoyed every single one of them. The thought of stopping filled me with dread. How would I ever enjoy a glass of wine or a meal in a restaurant again! If I stopped I would quite obviously never be able to go into a pub again or have a cup of coffee.
That day in June arrived and I remember pulling up outside the hotel where the session was going to be held. I told my other half that I couldn’t go through with it and that I’d wait in the car for her. The session was set to last for about 5 hours but at that point the fear of not being able to smoke again was overwhelming. I was gently, yet sternly persuaded to follow Tracey into the lobby. I wrote out my check for £200 and sat down to await this miracle cure. To say I was sceptical was an understatement. How could I be persuaded by Kim Bennett, who I’d never met before, to stop smoking? She was claiming to be able to do this in an afternoon, in spite of family and friends trying to convince me for years.
I sat through the session, and went out for smoke breaks with the rest of the class as was permitted. Slowly throughout the day the myths surrounding smoking and why I smoked were broken down by Kim and exposed for what they were, myths. I didn’t need a cigarette to enjoy a meal; smoking destroys your taste buds. In a stressful situation having a cigarette will only increase the stress, not relax you. Non smokers enjoy a pint in a pub, so why couldn’t` I without a cigarette. During the session the health and financial implications of smoking were taken as read. Everyone knows they are expensive and most smokers agree they’ll probably kill you in the end. What the session did for me was to make me realise that I was not giving anything up by stopping smoking, I was gaining so much. I would smell nicer, be able to taste food and wine better, not have a car that smelt of an ashtray, not wheeze when I climbed the stairs, not panic if I see that my packet of cigarettes was running low, and not base practically every action and task in my life around cigarette breaks.
I can’t explain how Kim did it, but by the end of the session I threw away my packet of Marlboro Lights and went home. That night I went out to our local restaurant and enjoyed the best tasting seafood risotto and bottle of Chianti and have never looked back since.

After spending eight years of my life being a slave to cigarettes I decided enough was enough and listened to the Easyway audiobook. That was nine months ago and I have not looked back since. I started back at the gym, which was not easy as my fitness levels were dreadul for a 25 year old, the result of smoking 30 a day for too long. Yesterday I ran my first marathon in a respectable time of 4 hours and 9 minutes and despite a few aches I feel on top of the world. I owe it all to Easyway and fell that I have been given a brighter future. Thank you Mr Carr, your legacy lives on.
