All I can say is thank you.
I read the book in Oct 2006 and have not felt the need to smoke since.
I encouraged my husband to read the book and he has also stopped. Thank you Allen for changing ours, and the lives of our children.

I had my last cigarette on 10thApril this year, after reading the easy way to stop smoking. I had smoked 20, sometimes more, a day for 20 years and decided enough was enough. Thre is no way i could have done it without reading the book. I have tried every other method in the past and failed miserably. it really is easy. I am just about to order the easyweigh to lose weight as i have gained a few pounds since stopping but have every confidence that i will be as successful as i have been with becoming a non smoker.

I just wanted to tell you that I am in my 4th week of being a non smoker! I put my last cigarette out on June 12th, and I can’t believe I’ve actually done it. I started to read the book over a year ago, when my Dad was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, and still put it down for a while…but then I made up my mind and went back to it. I’m so glad I did. There were a number of stressful outside factors that were taking place when I finished my last smoke, (and still are going on) but I didn’t buckle, I kept reminding myself of everything Allen said in the book, and it really helped. It really was easy. Thank You!!

I quit smoking on 7th may 2007 using Allen Carr’s methods, and i haven’t had a single puff since! I’d tried so many different ways, so many different times with no success, but I found this so easy, and hardly missed cigarettes at all! I’ll never go back to my old ways now!

Several people that I know and admire told me that the Carr Method to stop smoking was simple and nearly easy—that they had stopped without using gum or the patch or hypnosis or 12-step meetings.
I still would only buy the “Little Book of Quitting”—less than the price of a pack of smokes in NYC. Because I am “thrifty” about my health—and spend money like water on entertainment, travel, gifts, vehicles, and techno-toys.
It was so easy to quit using this short, cheap, honest little book that my problem is
forgetting how badly smoking had me in a death grip. I have to remember that I am in fact avery lucky free ex-smoker—thanks to Easyway and Allen Carr. Imagine all the love and good cheer spread by people saved from smoke-caused early death. And those who were born as a result of life, strength, joy, love and breath added back to their parents.

Bicycling again and ready to start jogging on sand—no longer coughing or hiding my bad habit!
Thank You!!
God Bless Allen and all of his people.

Hey Allen,

Had quit 3 or 4 times previously but this time I really enjoyed kicking the little green monster to death on the floor along with the brainwashing governments and tobacco companies. It is so incredibly easy to stop once you realize your a “mark” being fleeced by the nicotine peddlars. The habit is dead for good!! I hate to be “had”.

Thanks for the heads up Allen.

Today I celebrate 12 months free from cigarettes after more than 30 years as a smoker. Since I stopped I have become aware of a number of other people who have also stopped successfully with either the Easyway book or course. I find it incredible that this method is not better utilised by our health service instead of wasting money on nicotine replacements. Easyway really works.

After trying the willpower method and failing miserably and putting my poor kids through psychological hell when they were younger, I resigned myself to always being a smoker. Then a few weeks ago, I gave this book a look at. Once I read and understood the book I looked forward to my last fag and although I’ve had a few pangs, they’re gone in seconds. I’ve not quite done a week yet as a non smoker but all you smokers/ex smokers out there can testify that it’s a long time without a cigarette when you’re on at least 20 a day. Today is my 6th day as a non smoker and for the first time I’ve gone throughout the day without a single pang or craving.

Thank you so much. Me and my husband are now saving £70 per week – that’s a hell of a lot of money. We’ve cancelled holidays in the past because we couldn’t afford them but carried on smoking. Stupid!!!!! Not anymore.

Thank you Easyway.

Many, many thanks for your excellent book Easyway! 9 years after my cousin bought it for me, I eventually decided to finish reading the book (fear!!) and “go for it”! It could not have been easier to stop – there was nothing to give up or miss out on! After 25 years of smoking 20-a-day, I just stopped smoking any more cigarettes and never felt even a tinge of loss or sacrifice, or any of the trials and tribulations encouterered when attempting to quit using willpower alone or NRT (I should know having tried varying methods to quit over the years).

I would wholeheartedly recommend Easyway to any smokers who have struggled with willpower method or patches etc!

Nothing could have been easier – an absolute breeze to stop smoking! Easyway is a work of genius which should be the de facto standard method for quitting nicotine addiction.

Many thanks again for helping me escape so easily!

I escaped the nicotine trap 2 days ago after reading the book. I feel better already. I have smoked 20 cigs a day for 25 years and this is the most positive and Determined I have ever been to be free. The book made me laugh in so many places as I could relate to all the excuses, the feelings of embarrasment and behaviour associated with this addiction. Thanks Allen, for opening my eyes. My husband is reading it now, then the brother-in-laws will be persuaded, and anyone else I can find.

I have smoked 20 a day for over 20 years. I gave up using Allen’s method 2 year’s ago for 4 mths but like a few of us forgot one of the golden rules ‘one lead’s to many’. Finally picked up Allen’s book again after spending the last 2 years convincing myself I enjoyed smoking. Knowing it was so easy last time makes me so much more confident and know I am reminded of the con and lies we have been fed I feel even more confident. In fact I am looking afford to those feelings when I really know the monster is dying. I am glad you have left such a lasting legacy to us all.

From a vey happy non smoker.

I went to the Thames lodge Staines Middx UK for the Clinic appox 6 weeks ago.(I smoked 20 a day) I thought is was a bit strange being sent out for cig breaks all day and when i left i felt no different and suspected it was all rubbish. Well all i can say is i have not smoked, i have not craved or wanted to smoke. I have not had to use will power. I am happy to be around people who smoke and not feel tempted in any way. I feel re programed stress free and a happy non smoker. The clinic is easy and also made stopping so easy. Thank you so much my children are delighted. Why the NHS do not team up with Allen Carr is beyond me. Michelle. R from Staines.

Hi, approx. 2 years ago I borrowed my friend’s easyway book and read maybe 3/4’s of it. I found it pretty hard to get into as I was not too sure that I wanted to give up smoking.

Then approx. 8 weeks ago I bought the dvd. I have not had a smoke since watching the 1 hour dvd. It was SO easy to give up smoking, so much easier than I thought it would be.

Oh yes, there have been times when I have craved for a cigarette but I know that just one smoke WILL hurt me. I do not miss smoking and I have no desire to ever smoke again.

I highly recommend anyone, who wishes to be a non smoker, to watch this dvd.

I red allen carr’s book in 2001.after a friend, also a chainsmoker had quit, and i wanted to know how. she mentioned the book, i got it from the library, being a mother full of shame, pushing my 3 kids out of the way, closing the door so i was able to smoke. i red it in 3 days, i stopped never smoked since. Told my husband about the book got it for him in englisch, he’s a jordy, he stopped. told the girls i drive with to work, bought them the book as a present, they red it and stopped. they told their friends, they red it and stopped. This goes on and on. allen carr nor only saved my live but also changed my live with my children.
so when my husband was gaining more weight, and diets didn’t work he saw one day a book written by, ofcourse allen carr.
Bought the book, red it never ate meat since, no chickencurry’s he loved, no englisch breakfasts etc, Allen carr devinately left his mark on this world

It has been a challenge getting here but I am so happy to have left it all behind. I think the first visit left me being over confident but now I am cautious but confident that it is all behind me. br />Go well with this course, it is so a good plan for a better life. On the basis life is great anyway; add to it by giving up the weed!!

I gave up smoking (quite unplanned actually) on August 26th, 2007, after watching your DVD.

I had been a smoker since summer 1984 and had read your book in 1996, but was not ready to quit then.

It turns out that nine-and-a-half months ago, I was!

Can’t think of ANY other way to quit.

Thanks you guys! And for whoever is reading this to find encouragement to stop: If you’re really ready, it’s REALLY easy!

After reading Easyway I’ve broken my addiction to nicotine after 32 years of 20 cigarettes per day.

I wish I’d read the book 32 years ago, but better late then never. I’ve had some pangs, but easily overcome using Allen’s philosophy.

I’ve previously tried plain willpower and “nicotine replacement therapy”, (where the nicotine is replaced with nicotine e.g gum, inhalers etc) neither worked.

Great book, really gave me the tools to end my nicotine slavery myself.

Absolutely incredible is what I have to say!

As a smoker of 36 years, and wanting desperately for the last 20 of those years to be an ex-smoker, I struggled to stop and used patches, zyban, etc etc and could not even THINK about stopping without crying…

Well, I am SOOOOOO happy to report that I stopped smoking alright! My last cig was Monday Sept 10th 2007 in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons, coffee in hand, cig in the other and 10 pages of the book to read. Well, I finished at 8:45am and that was my last cig…it truly was easy and absolutely pleasurable – I can hardly believe it.

The combination was cracked for me – I am so grateful to Mr Carr and his method.

I purchased the book for a long-time friend who had the same track record and desire to stop as I – and he too has stopped for ever.

I can’t say enough about the book – I tell everyone about it – and those around me still can’t believe I have stopped! Sometimes I pinch myself! It is truly remarkable.

What a lifesaver Mr Carr is…blessings to his family and RIP Mr Carr – you are so loved here on earth – we won’t ever forget you!!! xoxoxox Carol

Well after 30 years of 40 cigs per day, not giving up when I was pregnant, nor when my father passed away with lung cancer, I am finally a non-smoker. thanks to Allen Carr’s Easyway one day seminar. I am still on cloud nine, 8 weeks after the even, not once have I wanted or craved a cig, no withdrawal just lots of smiles. The best thing is not only have I got my life back, but I am not a reformed smoker walking around with my soapbox. I had two friends stay with me for a week, both smokers, and I had no probs sitting having a drink with them whilst they smoked, nor was I ever tempted to even pick up a cig. Pretty good for a 30 year drug addiction. So I KNOW THIS WORKS. Thank you for my life.

I’ve just stopped for the 2nd time with Allen Carr. My first attempt went belly-up when I forgot the “no such thing as one cigarette” rule after 5 months. This time I used the book and, although not as easy or quick, it’s done the job. I also had to force myself to finish reading it and now I’m once again one of those painfull “holier than thou” ex-smokers although I can empathise with those TERRIFIED smokers. If you’re thinking about it, buy the book. No-one will know if you decide to keep smoking after reading it.

I would be so frustrated and finally would break down and buy a pack. It has been six months since I read the book and I can honestly tell you I would never smoke again. I have no desire for a cigarette, even if someone is smoking by me. It was the easiest thing to quit ever. Thank you.

Dear Natalie Clays

First and foremost I would like to thank Allen Carr for saving my life and, hopefully, thank you in advance for saving the lives of the people I love.

I am 27 years of age and I have smoked since I was 15. That’s 12 long years of being conned into the trap!

I stopped smoking and released my self from the trap on the 25th February 2008. I have completed 3 wonderful months of nicotine free euphoria. I also know for a fact that I will never smoke ever again and it’s all thanks to Allen Carr’s EASYWAY TO STOP SMOKING.

I was saddened to hear of Allen’s passing, my thoughts and regards go to his family and friends. He has saved the lives of millions of people and exposed the scandal of today’s society that smoking really is. I recently read Allen’s posthumous book Scandal and agreed with every single word of it. I have no doubt that Allen’s work will continue long after his tragic death.

Thank you Allen Carr
