Thank You! I have smoked for 34 years and put my last cigarette down December 29th. I have 5 days and feel great. I know that may be a short time, but I feel free and I know I will not pick up this weed again. The book really helped with changing the mind set and dispelling the myths.

I stopped smoking about nine months ago using Allen’s book and haven’t looked back. After quitting with Easyway, I felt like I had almost never been a smoker! The only thing I wish I could do is convince all my smoking friends how ridiculously easy and painless it can be to stop smoking. Quite honestly, it took me three years to read the book from start to finish; I would always come up with some excuse to put it down and forget about it, but the day I read the final page and smoked my last cigarette, I threw away my lighter, threw away my pack and walked away from a disgusting, unhealthy and unbecoming lifestyle with strength and confidence.

Thanks Allen Car,

I never heard of your book or clinic or seminar. I have a nintendo ds and i got your game and try to play it. I’ve been smoking for 10 years now and I’ve tried to quit once but fail. After playing your game I throw all my new pack cigs away and quit for 2 days now! I feel free and thanks for this enlightment~ I will continue and withdrawal doesn’t seem to be that bad at all~

I am going to pledge to use all the money that I am saving by not smoking on books until all of friends are exsmokers and I was thinking it would be a great kind of a after quiting pledge for you readers to consider. I just feel that this book is amazing and that we need to get the word out.

hi there, i was a smoker for 30 years. a very heavy dependant smoker that believed no-one could ever give up. i read your book because a student in my class asked me to. i began reading half heartedly, chain smoking as i read, thinking what a joke the whole thing was, not believing for a single second that the book was going to make me give up my one and only precious thing i considered that was totally mine for ever. right up to the last chapter. i even put the book down on the last chapter because i did nt want to deal with the failure of no giving up again. i waited a couple of days, then had my “supposdly” last cigarette. i dont really know what happened after that. it was the middle of the day, i had 6 cigarettes left in my packet, and they are still sitting there now on my table over two months later. i just didnt want one any more. i was angry that i had been brainwashed for all those years and that i just stopped, never had one head ache, feeling sick, coughing fit, “so called recpeters in the brain going crazy” as they show on tv here. i had no symtoms. i reconigised maybe 10 or so times the anxious feeling that made me reach for the cigarette, but by the time i took to think that process through eg say in my head..” o this is that feeling that the book said that made you reach for a cigarete, ah i get it now” that was how long it took for the anxious feeling to disappear again. i dont even get them feelings anymore. amazing. the only thing i am left wondering now, is WHY THE HELL DOESNT THE GOVERNMENT, THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, DOCTORS OR SOMEBODY REALISE THAT THIS TRULY IS A CONSPRISACY ON THE CIGARETE COMPANIES BEHALF AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE LIES THEY HAVE AND STILL ARE SPREADING ACROSS THE WORLD THAT ARE IN FACT KILLING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

i now spend $70 a week on myself shopping and not give it to the cigarette manufactures.. i dont smoke yeah!!!!!!!~

The Easyway to quit smoking book changed my entire outlook on smoking cigarettes. I was a smoker for about 15 years of my 30 year life. I was one of the “Cold Turkey” quitters living in agony and dismay for 6+ months, before purchasing and reading Allen Carr’s book. It seemed the longer I went without a smoke, the more I wanted one. But after reading Mr. Carr’s wonderful book, I no longer have any desire to ever pick another cigarette up again. I’m not “quitting smoking”, I’m starting life over again!! This was made so easy after only reading a nearly 200 page book!! I only wish Mr. Carr were still alive to hear mine and others stories of redemption. Redemption of LIFE. Thank you so much.

Mr. Allen Carr RIP

Hi, I am 29yrs old and have been smoking since the age of 12. I have tried desperately on several occasions to quit smoking but to no avail. My partners cousin said that she just had to quit and was reading a book called Easyway and I thought oh wow if she can give up after reading this book then I am definitely going to give it a go, I am happy to say that she is on her 3rd week of being smokefree and I am on my tenth day! I am so proud of myself, after having smoked for 17yrs the minute I put out my last cigarette I havent looked back. I’m going to enjoy the rest of my life as they say in the book a “HAPPY NON SMOKER” thank you so much Allan Carr for this easy and stress free way of releasing me from my addiction!

I have been smoking from 20 to 30 cigarettes a day since i was 13 and was often known by the nickname “Jason Fags” – now i have stopped and the week after my final cigarette not only did it take no willpower but it has been one of the most enjoyable weeks of my enitre life!! The exhilerating sense of freedom makes even mundane tasks 10 times less mundane and i’ve enjoyed the good times so much more! many people (including non-smokers) do not quite believe me but it does not bother me – in fact it proves that we suffer brainwashing in society that qutting is hard – it’s not – my confidence has increased more than i could have imagined. I’ve gotten a lot of good attention due to it as well! I truly feel free and find it disturbing that the medical profession will not adopt your method. but Thank you!!!!! I feel like i’m me again and i’m sure fellow Easyway users will know what i mean!

What a lucky day it was for me when I stumbled upon Easy Way at a yard sale. I decided to stop reading halfway through, because I knew I would have to quit smoking if I continued. I had to continue, though, and have been a non-smoker for two months. I feel no sense of deprivation, and no emotion (anger, stress) triggers the urge to smoke in me any longer. I look at smokers with pity, not envy. Thank God for Allen Carr’s Easy Way. It’s my Christmas gift to every smoker I know this year.

I was recommended Easyway by a friend when I was trying (and failing) to give up using patches and willpower. I didn’t believe his claims that it had been easy when he had read the book but I gave it a go. Like a few people have mentioned I started it once before, stopped reading then started again, when a relative died from lung cancer which in the end was a relief as the quality of her life had been so awful due to smoking for the last few years of her life. I have been free for nearly four months, and it was incredibly easy. My friends can’t belive it, I’m 24, smoked for nearly 10 years, and for most of those years really did believe I loved smoking, although I see now I was deluded! I have recommended the book to lots of people, two of which have now quit too. I now have a better life in front of me thanks to the late, great Allen Carr

Dear Mr. Carr, I would just like to thank you for writing this book and sharing your knowledge with me. I have been free for 7 weeks now and life couldn’t be better. I am 39 years old and read this book to actually help my mother quit. During the process I gained freedom but she hasn’t been as succesful yet. I think she skipped a few chapters along the way. However, she is going to finsih the book and join me in being free of nicotine. I have two young children and I actually tear up with joy every morning I wake up. It was very emotional for me as being free feels amazing. I just wish ever smoker would read this book. I plan to promote it to every smoker I meet!! They need to know how easy it is to be free. Thanks again!!

I thought that I had tried everything to quit smoking only to fail each time. I stumbled across your site one day, while searching for anything I might have overlooked in my quest for help. I bought the book and read half of it, then realized that if I completed it I would quit smoking. I told myself I wasn’t ready and put the book away.

That was July, 2005. During the week between Christmas and New Year’s, I was thinking about what new resolution I should make and thought about your book. Knowing that I had tried to quit by resolution before, I nevertheless decided to give it a try. I haven’t smoked a cigarette since and it’s been 3 years. I’ll never smoke again. You take the fear out of quitting. Thank You!

Allen Carr!!!

I am now on day 50 of being a non-smoker…. I posted previously on day 27.

It not only gets EASIER (not that it wasn’t easy to start with!!), but it gets MORE ENJOYABLE and MORE REWARDING.

To anyone who has read this book – you know what I’m talking about.

To any SMOKER who has not read Allen Carr’s EASYWAY …. Read the book. Save yourself.

If you’re not sure, read the rest of this page, or download ‘Scandal’ by Allen Carr (free download).

If anyone is on their 2nd, or 22nd or 50th ‘ATTEMPT’ to stop smoking using GUM, PATCHES, or INHALER …. Do yourself a favour and read SCANDAL.

It truly is the biggest worldwide scandal of our time.

Sincerely,

I’ve always been the one to read a book for answers…So it seemed only right that reading Allen Carr’s “Easy Way to Stop Smoking” would be my solution to such an awful problem. I became a non-smoker on February 23, 2008…after having smoked for about 20 years (off and on). I say a non-smoker because, I really cannot even be around smoke from cigarettes, more like a non-smoker than an ex-smoker. I have been telling everyone that this is the best, I mean THE BEST way to stop. No substitutes…no patches… no “over-rated” withdrawal fits and best of all, no going back. I haven’t been tempted at all and life has not stopped throwing hard curve balls. I actually feel better & more confident because I can handle stress without the cigs- Who knew??? Good gift for the holidays!

I’ve been a smoker for twenty years. I had always been convinced that I was lacking the willpower necessary to quit, and I actually never tried seriously, even though I was feeling a fool every night after another day as a smoker.
I’ve read Allen’s book for curiosity, and I have quitted when I had only read an half. I couldn’t believe myself!
Now I am a NON smoker since more than 3.5 months and I am not missing cigarettes and, more unbelievable, I spend entire days and weeks without thinking about cigarettes, while living beside smokers is not a problem.
THANKS ALLEN, GOD BLESS YOU

I was born and raised in the US but have been living in Spain for 4 years.

I’ve been a non smoker since July 14th of this year (2008) and I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!! I’ve tried to stop before (like every smoker) and it never worked…until I read Allen’s book. I honestly didn’t believe it could work for me, but read the book anyway, just in case. Thank god I did!! I love this new me…not smelling HORRIBLE, having that “taste” in my mouth ALL THE TIME and always worrying about wrinkles and yellow teeth.I love when people come up to me and compliment me on the way I smell. I don’t know why I’ve always spent good money on perfumes before because the only time you can really smell a nice scent on a smoker is when they first leave the house (before that cigarrette).

Anyway, I just want to thank Allen and my brother, Jorge, who gave me the book many years ago. If it weren’t for the two of them, I’d probably still be killing myself today. Thanks guys!!

PS: Good luck to all of you out there that are fighting this nicotine battle. You will win if you want to!!

I decided to stop smoking but I didn’t know how to do it due to a few failures of trying during my 24 years of 20 cigarettes a day.

A friend told me about the book and so I went to a book store.
At 11:00 I had the book in my hand.
At 21:00 I finished the book.
It toke me 10 hours to read and understand why there are no more reasons for me to smoke and it was so easy to stop.
It takes a gunnies to put all the things together in a great book like that.
Thanks for helping me saving my life.

P.S – I’m a noon smoker for 10 days and thanks to your book I KNOW I will never be one!

I smoked 1-2 packs a day for over 20 years, tried every type of N.R.T, ” cold turkey, etc. Then a friend told me he had quit after attending just one seminar in NYC and how easy it was and how sure he was that he was now more comitted to NOT ever smoking again than he ever was to smoking. I listened and bought the book (didn’t want to wait for seminar) I understood and embraced the principle after one reading however went back and re-read twice more before stopping. Now ten months later I am still absolutely certain i will never smoke again. I tell all who will listen including doctors nurses and friends about Allen’S method. I will forever appreciate Allen’s courage, and common sense genius in communicating his epiphany with others.

I had smoked for almost eight years before finally putting an end to the habit. I really thought I enjoyed smoking and never thought that I would be able to escape the crutch. It was like I had two sides to my brain. One side was telling me that life would never be enjoyable without cigarettes and the other trying but failing miserably to encourage me to kick the habit.

After reading Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Stop Smoking, I, like he promised, found it incredibly easy to quit and the negative side of my brain encouraging me to smoke had completely vanished.

My friends and family couldn’t believe how easily I managed to stop smoking. I am forever preaching to them about Allen Carr’s book as I truly believe that without it, I would still be a smoker and may never have found the strength to quit.

I would just like to thank him dearly for saving my life in years to come and making the whole process of quitting not only easy but also enjoyable.

Allen Carr was truly a genius, who has saved countless lives and should always be remembered for his altruism. I will be forever grateful to Mr Carr. Thank you , thank you, thank you.

Not only was it easy but I have never been happier! Thank you. As you know, that book saved my life! I will also tell you about my chain smoking husband who doesn’t read. Thank you! I read the book 2 years ago, but not to quit, just reading what is all about. I read it during work, and it didn’t work for me. Today I spent the day reading it, and enjoying the book. I was crying smoking today. I thought that I might be weak and stupid, but I was crying because I needed to burry my cigarettes and my last moments at my cold balcony. My 10 years daughter asked me not to smoke. She was trying to talk to me about that, and was ignoring that, because I was feeling like a stupid and irresponsible mother. Tonight before she went to sleep, I hold her and I told her that I am quitting smoking. A 10 years girl asked me “when”, I suppose she needed to know the day, or month. I am free. I was hiding cigarettes from my husband, I was in panic when I didn’t had cigarettes. I needed that, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the miraculous pill. I found the book.
I am afraid, to woke up tomorrow and fail. But I am happy tonight, I told my daughter about that, and the day after tomorrow my husband will return from a business trip. I want to tell him, and I know that he will be happy.
I am begging God to help me, and I want to thank Allen Carr for that. I know that he will be proud of me, that after 12 years…I want, and I know that I can do it.
God bless your team!

Its been six months now since I quit with Easyway. Has it been easy – well yes! I have had the odd off days… (mainly on a Friday – odd) but I know i would never actually go and buy a pack – it would seem so Alien now to do that!
Life gets better, I feel calm, secure and independant! I have done so many things since quitting, its has improved many many areas of my life. But, I am still the same person, only now I don’t smoke! I urge everyone to use this method, face the fear, read the book and look forward to being free and rich!
