I quit smoking using the Easy Way several years ago.(reading the book) Friends that quit at the same time that I did but who used drugs have started smoking again. After the first three months passed I never once missed smoking.

I recommend the Easy Way to all of my friends who desire to quit smoking.

Thanks a MILLION!!! I am so happy to be a non smoker.

I came to one of your clinics in October at the Swallow Hotel in Preston. I have not had one cigarette since then. It has completely changed my life.

I would just like to thank you for your help.

I smoked since the age of 14 and I always thought that it was part of who I was as I had turned into an adult whilst smoking and I feel thrilled to know that I am no longer that person. I only wish I had discovered the Alan Carr clinic a lot sooner.

I just thought you should know as I bet that one of the most rewarding parts of your job is getting feedback and knowing what actually happens to people when they walk out the door.

I keep raving to every smoker I know about the clinic but as we both know, people have reach their own rock bottom in order to change (in other words horses can be taken to water but can’t be made to drink!!)

When I tell people I did not struggle, nor do I miss smoking they can’t believe it and in this pessimistic society people have trouble believing that pure logic can overcome something so addictive. Oh well!! I will get someone through your door one day!

Once again, a massive thank you.

Its been four years now since I have read the book that changed my life. Without this book I never thought I would ever be free. I still continue to tell everyone that it is ridiculously easy with this method. Whenever I hear of friends going on a cessation drug or trying to cut down I offer to buy them a copy of the book. If anyone is ever in doubt just read the book, you won’t loose anything by just reading it.

Being free is the best thing that ever happened to me!

Long story short:
Fortunately, I met this fella of mine, spent some time together having a coffee and talking about this or that…
After a few minutes and two cigarettes , me, intrigued: “But… you don’t smoke! You were smoking, wasn’t you?”
He, smiling: Yes, but that was few months ago. I quit” ”?!”

“Well, I’ve read a book and I have quit.”
”?!?!...”
“Oh, yes, just like that, and it was easy and even enjoiable.”
“You’re fooling me! Can’t belive it! No cravings or desire since?!...”
He, amused about me not beliving: “Not at all, belive me. Why would I lie to you? Really, do I look like suffering?? Read the book and see for yourself, if you want.”
“Hell, course I want!”
And now, here I am, a(nother) happy non-smoker! “Is gooood to be the king!!!”
This happened in december 2008, and now I am as enthisiastic as then.

It’s been 8 months since I’ve read Mr. Carr’s wonderful book and stopped smoking. I was especially addicted to the “act” of smoking. It wasn’t terribly hard for me to give up the nicotine however I commend Mr. Carr’s book being the deciding factor to quit once and for all. I quit in Sept and went to France in October…What a test of wills….it seems like everyone smokes there lol. I will admit I do miss the act but it’s great to be able to breathe again. I had no idea Mr Carr had passed away. I should have thanked him sooner. May he rest in peace. Rene.

I start smoking in 1991. and have become a heavy smoker since then. I’ve been trying to stop smoking using any other methods and it usually failed because it felt so hard.

But on April 25th, 09. I bought a game on iTunes, Allen Carr’s easy way to stop smoking, and i play it. It really open my eyes and then i decided to quit. that instant.

it’s been 11 day since then, and it didn’t felt hard at all. It sure is an easy way to stop smoking.

Thank you Allen Carr!

I first tried to give up smoking many years ago with the help ! of nicotine patches.. They cost a lot and didn’t work. The first time I read Allen Carr’s book I was almost hesitant about finishing it because I knew I could become a non smoker straight away.. It was working as I read it. I gave up for 7 months, and with my second attempt 6 months. My third attempt was on 1st July 2007 and I am still a happy and contented non smoker.

I knew I would become a non smoker one day… my own growing anxieties about smoking related illnesses and the worry of my children seeing me smoke myself nearer to death.

The second thing I was always certain of after reading Allan carr’s book for the first time was that it would be achieved by his help, and not patches or gum or any other medication.

My battle was a psychological one and in that battle I truly thank Allen Carr.

The one time I did ring the NHS helpline they wanted to know more about where I had heard about the facility to ring them than actually helping me. I put the phone down in disgust that marketing and advertising concerns were more important than me at that point in time.

Thank you enormously Allen Carr for giving me back my health and peace of mind. I am also far more relaxed than I ever was when smoking cigarettes. Its all an illusion with cigarettes. You blew that one away for me XX

Thankyou Allan for your inspirational book. I have only today learnt of Allans passing. I am very sorry. I am now about to re-read this book.

I intially read the Easyway and stopped for a month. For some reason I thought I could have one and resist but started again.
I read the Easyway for a 2nd time and stopped for a month, but I started again. I was becoming frustrated but I bought the Permanent Way. This time I again stopped for a month.
A few months later after a night out I found myself picking up a cigarette from the floor. It was like all the reading from the books rushed back into my head and the next day I stopped for good.
I haven’t touched a cigarette or even craved on for over 3 years now and I credit that result to Allan Carr’s books.

March 16th 2008 will be one of the most important anniversarys that I celebrate for the rest of my life.

I booked for a clinic in Gateshead – was incredibly nervous the night before, not knowing what to expect and on the morning of the clinic I started to panic thinking what if this really is the last time I am ever going to smoke?! Ill never be able to do it again if this works.

I knew I needed to pack it in. My grandad had suffered horribly with cancer in his mouth (not from smoking by the way) and my dad had stents put in his heart to help him through his heart disease. To a non-smoker you would have thought that these two things should themselves have stopped me in my tracks but they didnt. It really upset me that they didnt, and I couldnt understand why this wasnt enough to stop me.

I didnt particularly feel motivated to stop smoking. I just knew I had to. I was really sceptical but the money back guarantee and the follow up session if you fell off the wagon were enough to convince me to at least try.

At this point I had smoked for around 10 years, and was on at least 15 a day, more if it was a particularly stressful day or I had a night out planned.

By the end of the days session I felt a stone lighter, like a massive weight had been lifted off me. I understood the reasons why my dad and grandad’s illnesses hadnt stopped me before and I stopped feeling guilty.

When I left the venue I felt excited that a brand new period was opening up in my life. Getting through the first few days was nowhere near as hard as I had previously found cold turkey – but I had some very good arguements in my head to remind myself when I got a pang for a cigarrette, and ended up talking to myself when I was driving in particular, saying to myself how happy I was that I could get in the car and not have to smoke anymore.

My friends and family are still astounded to this day that I literally left my packet of fags at that session and never looked back.

I can have a good drink now and not have to worry about my inhibitions going and my will power disappearing. I didnt have any problems going out with friends and being sat with them smoking (my only problem being that I hated the smell of the smoke on my hair and clothes by the time I got home!).

It has been just over a year now and I can very confidently say that I cannot see myself smoking again for the rest of my life.

I was a complete cynic – and still am at the ‘wild’ claims made by people who have easy ways for doing something so difficult. I havent managed to convince my smoking friends to do the same as me – no matter how shocked they are at my success. All they need is a slightly open mind, a willingness to try. There really is nothing to lose.

My boyfriend quit cold turkey 3 months after me. He managed to do it without any aid, and didnt need Allen Carrs easyway. The difference between us is that he still craves smoking and I dont. I think he is always going to fancy having a fag, especially when he has had a few drinks and is with his mates. He has managed to keep off so far, but I know it is a struggle for him. I recommended to him to do the clinic anyway and have his cravings turned around. We will see how it goes.

I wish there was a way to reach all thos other smokers out there who are like how I was.

Every now and again I get a wave of excitement wash over me that I am still a non-smoker.

Thank you very very much. It has completely turned my life around.

I stopped smoking on Oct 26th 2008. Soon as I finished reading the book I knew I would never smoke again (I was smoking 10 a day). I wanted to shout from the rooftops and to every smoker I knew about the book, but none I knew would listen or more importantly read (the book). I feel sorry for them! Anyway, can’t thank the man and the legend that is Allen Carr enough. Thank you (should be Sir) Allen Carr, thank you so much.

I quit smoking permanently Jan 12 2001 at a clinic in Dublin, Ireland.
I am just commenting that it was the best thing I have done for my health and welbeing. I realized I would never smoke again. I had tried to stop several times before I used the eazyway but got too nervous and edgy and started agin. With The EAZYWAY i realized the nervousness was really the increased energy my body felt as the nicotine poisoning was leaving my body and my body health rapidly improved.Eazyway tells how addiction really works and how to release yourself from the prison of cigarettes.
Spread the Word. I live in USA now and am saddened that Allen Carr’s Method is not mentioned in news articles i am reading from Harvard Medical School. They promote Nicotine Replacement therapy (which I had tried before to no avail), and medications that are, antidepressants, potentially dangerous, even lethal, cause bad dreams and other forms of misery.
The BEST WAY is the Easyway.
Thank You who continue Allen’s Campaign.

What do you say about someone who has saved not just your life but the life of 4 of your loved ones? I was a ‘secret smoker’ and smoking was not only killing me but ruining my life and my relationship. I was sceptical of this book but after seeing four of my family members succeed with “The easy way to stop smoking” I gave it a chance. I am so glad that I did as I have been smoke free for 18months and it was neither hard to quit nor scary! I am still in disbelief of the wonders of this book. I will be ever grateful to Allen Carr and “The easy way to stop smoking” for saving my life, my relationship and my family.

But I was opened minded and started reading I finished the book in two days and too my JOY I was a non smoker not even being able to smoke all of my last ritual cigarette I was free from the binds of smoking I had smoked for 24 years and could not believe that I was finally FREE. My 3 children and my partner were over the moon and still can’t believe that I haven’t even had an urge to smoke at all. To top it all I had stopped smoking only seven weeks after losing my mum to leaukemia she was only 57 years old when she passed so if I could do that at such a heart breaking time what else can I achieve.

Many thanks Allen Carr. I quit smoking with the aid of your book, I have not smoked for six months now. A feeling of smoking recently appeared, so i again read the part of the book, understood, where the self-deception lies, and thrust is past. Throughout the world the huge amount of your clinics, I do not understand why there are not any in Russia?
