I have tried previously to give up smoking, and previoulsy only managed a couple of hours / days. I tried the Allen Carr’s easyway approach on the Nintendo DS, and have been a non smoker for almost 5 weeks now
I am amazed at how easy this has been, particularly as I have never had any willpower in the past, and would recommend this to anyone who wants to be non smoker
I read the book while on holiday in Italy, it took me less than one day. It completly distroyed the myths around smoking and I’m finally out of excuses. I am finally free after numerus failed attempts, thank you! Rachael – England

I quit in 2004 after smoking 20 a day for more than 10 years. It took me 3 days to read the book and I knew as soon as I finished that I would never smoke again. The first thing I did was to celebrate in the pub – normally the worst place for a fresh quitter!! It’s been 5 years now and I cannot believe I was such a mug as a smoker.
I should have written to Allen when I had just quit and when he was still alive, that and not reading the book sooner, are most regretful.
I was a smoker for 20 years and have tried several times to give up, only to fail. I finally decided to give it one last go and a went out and bought ‘The easyway to stop smoking’. I have to admit I was extremely dubious – how can a book stop me smoking? I read it and even up to the last chapter I was not convinced it was going to work. The last chapter took me a while to read as I was terrified of no longer being the same person without a cigarette in my hand! Well what can I say?! It is amazing. I have stopped now for almost a month and it really has been easy! I have had no real cravings and best of all I haven’t eaten the entire house! I would recommend this book over and over – anyone who wants to stop should definitely give it a go; it really does work!

Bought the book and read it in one day on holiday. When I started it I hadnt expected to not be smoking by the end. I was just intending to start to psych (sic) myself up for my first attempt at quitting that was supposed to be next year.
That was 30 days ago and a 20-a-day, 20 year addiction has just disappeared!
I live with a smoker, I still have cigarettes and lighters around the house. I have absolutely no desire to smoke and havent since that first day!
I am still completely stunned and so, so glad I picked up this book.
Hi – today I have been for FOUR walks!!! Until Tuesday evening (2 days ago) one walk would have been enough to cause sharp pains in my chest, and that’s if I could have found the ENERGY to force myself on one walk!
So what happened on Tuesday evening? ... I finished reading Allen Carr’s “Easy Way to Stop Smoking” and smoked my last ever cigarette.
Only two days and the benefits are clear aleady – plus I haven’t had a moment’s craving. This really is the EASY way to stop smoking!
I just want to say thank you, and I’m sure my mum would thank you even more!
I had no intention of quiting smoking as I didn’t want to put myself through the stress or ‘deprive’ myself… My mum gave me the easyway book and to keep her happy I read it.
It was the best thing I’v ever done and by far the easiest! it makes you feel really strong and empowered for being able to do something your told is the hardest thing you’ll have to do!
Thank you again and I have passed it on to all my smoking friends who are slowly but surely all quitting! :)
I attended at the Leeds clinic on September 23rd 2007. I smoked my last cigarette during the clinic and have never looked back since! I now have a totally new lease of life. London Marathon 2010 here I come!

Having been a smoker for 23 years, I had tried so many times to quit smoking, using all different methods. EASYWAY was the easiest method, and truly worked! Unlike nicotine replacement therapy and the willpower methods, I actually ENJOY not smoking! I don’t think about it all the time anymore, but when I do think about smoking, I’m glad I am finally FREE!! I’m not longer at the mercy of an inanimate object-a pack of cigarettes! THANK YOU, Allen Carr, for you literally saved my life!

Dear Mr Carr,
I suppose that you’ve had thousands and thousands of thank yous since you published your book. So mine is problably not as big for you as you know it is for me.
But I know you do and that’s good for me to know.
It is huge for me.
I’ve stopped smoking and I’ve never felt better. “The easy way to stop smoking” helped me a lot.

Easyway is simply great!
One week free now, after 22 dark years of smoking cigarettes. Though the first 3 days were a kind of tough, I’m very happy now, because the impossible became
possible all of a sudden.
All I can say, the Easyway video is for
me the most instructive movie I ever watched.

I came at the clinic this Saturday and I met this wonderful woman Colleen. I feel so good and so happy!! I am free!!!!the only “crisis” that I had was Saturday afternoon but I read my personal statement and in 20 minutes I was feeling and just AMAZING!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! U set me free and I can not describe you my feelings!
The most important is that I am HAPPY and I can t stop smiling!!!!
All my love!

Attended the clinic on Saturday and I am still buzzing. Just passed the 48 hour mark and it feels great. The empty feeling was at its worse this morning but I am embracing it rather than letting it get on top of me. I am getting a real pleasure knowing I am free and killing the addiction. I feel much more alert today and thats just 48 hours. Imagine the difference a month will make. I am excited about being “normal” again.

Hi, I’m 37 years old and started smoking at the very young age of 14.I have been living in Australia since 2001. I’ve tried to quit numerous times unsuccessfully. A friend gave me Allen Carr’s book 2 years ago. I read the first few pages then it went in my bookshelf until 4 months ago. I pulled it back and read it.I’ve been cigarette free (not even a single puff) for the last 3 months and somehow I just know in my heart I will never smoke again. It is hard to believe considering that i’m notorious for my attitudes of being negative, skeptical and even fatalistic. Never I would have thought that a book claiming an easy way to cure smoking addiction could be accurate and sounding way too good to be true. I still can’t clearly make sense of how it works, i only have a vague idea. It’s like it brainwashes you from the brainwashing. It works even if you don’t believe it! It must have a magical spell on it. It has changed my life and gave me the greatest sense of freedom. I consider this book more sacred than the holy bible. I’ve purchased a copy for my friend who has desperately tried to quit so many times in the last few years.
hi, just wanted to say that, i never thought i could stop smoking, but after reading allen carr’s book…. here i am, a non smoker. after me my daughter & my son stoped. all this has happened just three months ago…by the way i’m from italy.

Hey stopped smoking for over 2 years now and i couldnt have done it without the book. Awesome

Hello I am from norfolk, england,
I was a smoker for about 11 years and wanted to stop when myself and my partner moved in together I read the easy way to stop smoking in just 1 day and have not smoked since, it has now been 7 years and I never even think about it.
the first few weeks were very strange I dreamt about it and often awoke dissapointed that I had had a cigarette when in fact there were none in the house ‘crazy’ but the book was the best I have ever read and it has paid for itself 1000000 times over with the money I have saved not to mention my health.
Thanks a million !!!
Спасибо Аллену Карру и его чудесной книге. Муж прочитал сам и настоял на моём прочтении. Оба счастливые не курильщики. Спасибо.Thanks to Allen Carr and to his wonderful book. Husband read it and insisted on me reading. Both happy not smokers. Thanks

It is pleasing to discover you are opening a clinic in Russia.
I stopped smoking on the 15th September 2008, it is almost my first year anniversary away from the dreadful cigarette, all thanks to reading a book recommended to me by a friend here in Russia, Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking. Read-it, it genuinely works, or go to a clinic. Good luck all.
I’m 38, live in Italy and have been a smoker for the past 24 years.
I quit smoking 2,5 months ago after reading Allen’s book on Sardinia’s beautiful seaside. I actually enjoy life more than ever. Good luck to everybody.
Thank you, thank you. After smoking for over 20 years, I have finally quit. I am now a nonsmoker. It has been just over 5 months and I feel fantastic. I was afraid of failing again so it actually took me quite a few months to finish the book. I also was terrified of quitting cold turkey – but it worked – and it worked well. Thank you again
THANK YOU ALLEN!!!!!!!
I finished reading the onlyway 6 days ago and I am delighted that I have for the first time in my life sucessfully stopped smoking.
I have never gone even a week with out lighting up in the last 20 years (ashamed to say I used to smoke 30 a day) and I can not quite believe I have given up for good.
Thank you Allen Carr.
I’ve read Allen Carrs’s book one jear and three months ago. First i thougt: I can’t believe a book can make you want to stop if you don’t want to in the first place. But i read it anyway wiht no strings attachted. When i started reading the book, ik kept seeing the green monster that i/the nicotine have created; funny and it works! The same day i did’t care if my husband would stop too…. because i wanted to stop and i found motivation. I used to be so tired every day but never thought that nicotine had influence on that;
IT HAS!! So that was the beginning.
I laughed smoking my last cigarette and i did’t even finish it…
Every now and then i feel like smoking, but then i see that green monster…. and the positive sides off not smoking and i never won’t to lose that!!! NO WAY! Not even a set-back and i’m proud off that. I would like to say thank you to our fellow angel Allen Carr.

Я перестал 3 недели назад, да, это небольшой срок, но всё же перестал, в то время как большинство моих друзей и знакомых мучатся годами... Да, мне только 17, но я курил с 14. Спасибо... Большое человеческое спасибо!I ceased 3 weeks ago, yes, this is short period, but nevertheless ceased, while the majority of my friends and acquaintances suffer for years… Yes, to me only 17, but I smoked with 14. thanks… Large human thanks
It’s only been four days since I smoked my last cigarette, but I am totally positive that it indeed was the LAST one. I feel really great and proud of myself. I don’t miss smoking. It feels so good to come back home in the evening and feel my clothes and hair as fresh as they were in the morning….they dont smell of smoke! This is the first positive thing i’ve noticed. Let’s see what’s next!
Many thanks to Allan Carr and good luck for those who are about to quit smoking!!

I made a vow that in 100 days I will come back here and let ‘the world’ know that there is another successful escapee.
Basically – this worked for me (and as you will see below many many others).
So – if you are thinking of it. Give it a go. There is nothing to lose.
With much thanks to Allen Carr.
I received Allen Carr’s book from my boyfriend. He gave it to me telling me he and my daughter loved me and wanted me around a long time. Would I consider reading the book? “Of course, I’ll read the book”. I read the book and quit with the last page, at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night. I’ve never looked back. I can’t say that I could have quit on my own, but Mr. Carr’s book made me realize everything I had already known about smoking. I just needed to see it in print and the way he presented it.
It’s been 4+ years since I quit smoking. Thank you Allen Carr!

i am 18 years old and I quit smoking, Thank you.
I’m a 46yr old woman living in Bristol ,England and a smoker since the age of about 15.Over the years I have cut down from about 30 a day at the peak to 10-15 a week but just could not crack those last few, which i felt I enjoyed, and of course it was my treat with a glass or 2 of wine.My daughter lent me Allen Carrs The Easyway to Stop Smoking ,which she had successfully practiced to kick the “habit”. I took on holiday along with a couple of other light reading books. Not so strangley I read everything else & found I was avoiding this book.I suppose once I recognised this I sort of challenged myself to open it and start reading. My daughter had warned me not to read it too fast & digest it in bite sized pieces, but once I started reading I wanted to keep going. Before starting the book I had no real intention of giving up at that time – no – I was on holiday I would enjoy myself and apply myself when I got home – I told myself, but as I read it just sort of fell into place. I hadn’t set a date,I didn’t even consciously have a last cigarette & just knew I didn’t need or want one.
That was 10 days ago and I have carried on with my glass of wine on an evening without the desire to smoke, which I would have considered a wallclimbing, gut wrenching exercise 2 weeks ago. I cannot recommend this method & book highly enough. If only I had known years ago it was so easy to walk away .
I quit smoking the Easy way over two years ago and I have never looked back!! I had been smoking for approx 30 years and never thought i would be able to quit….i truly wish i had heard about Allan Carr many years before. I urge anybody who is considering quitting to give the Easyway a try. I have never felt healthier or happier
Hi – just want to add my comments which will be much like the others. It has now been 13 days since finishing the book – it really really has been easy! I thought some of the comments about liking it to getting out of jail were too much of an exaggeration when I read it – but not so – it does feel like that! Wow. I cannot recommend this enough to others and am so pleased with myself for having been successful. It is truly easy! My stats had been: smoking 33 years, at least 20 per day. (From the UK)
I feel fantastic – all my thanks! RIP Allen Carr.
i was given allen carrs easyway book a while ago by my sister who gave up using it, and after reading it i have been an ex-smoker for 1 month now and i just want to say how much better i feel already, after smoking for 2 years i found that i wasnt as physically fit as i used to be and i finally stoped because of this awsome book which opened my eyes to alot of things. I have become alot more energetic and i find that i can actually sleep alot better too.
i cant explain how much i appreciate easyway for helping me to stop.
God Bless you Allen, I smoked for over 20 years and had several failed attempts to quit. I am now a happy non-smoker. Thanks to you

Thank you Allen Carr. You changed my life. I have read all of your books, and you have completely turned my preconceived ideas – my thinking and my attitudes – upside down. I am now FREE. Free from nicotine, alcohol and food addictions. Free to live in a fit and healthy body. Free from the depression and fear of life without my little ‘helpers’. All thanks to your three books; your sheer common sense and gentle, humourous persuasion to see the beautiful truth.
How Allen Carr was not recognised for his achievements before his death is beyond me. This man and his eureka moment about nicotine addiction and the smoking and drinking illusions, will have saved the lives of millions of people. The world owes Allen Carr a huge debt of gratitude. He was, quite simply, a genius. I truly believe his was one of the most important revelations in the history of the world.
Thank you Allen. Your legacy will live on through the lives you change, and the lives you save.
I’ve been a very happy nonsmoker for 4 months now. It feels like it has been years. My former life seems so strange to me and it’s amazing how much I’ve grown since then. I have no desire to ever smoke again and I wish that all smokers could feel the relief of stopping and taking their life back. My friends are shocked at how easy it has been for me. After the first week I had no cravings or even the slightest desire to smoke. I’m very grateful for the Easyway. I’m very grateful that I’ve stopped the fear and can truly enjoy my life.
I am from Aberdeen, in Scotland. I quit smoking in 2001 using Easyway, but I did not understand the nature of the trap completely. I was still envious of smokers; I still thought I ‘enjoyed’ smoking….that I was missing out. After two years, I eventually lit up one cigarette and was immediately back in the trap. However, Easyway changed my mindset about smoking, and I found I smoked much less, and looked at my cigarette in a different light. When ever I lit up, I really did question why I felt I was enjoying smoking again. One day I realised the cigarette tasted absolutely foul, and I felt ill and sick after smoking it. I looked out my Easyway book that very day, dusted it off, read it in four hours – and have now been a non smoker for six months. I will never smoke again. Allen also cured me of my drink problem. I wish I could have met Allen Carr. He is my absolute Hero. What a man, and what a legacy. His family should be very proud.

After the 3rd attempt spanning 2 years I have finally stopped smoking and I am eternally grateful! What was most effective for me was the page where you are asked to turn over for the benefits of smoking, and the page is blank, that stuck in my mind always and made me laugh.
Rest in Peace Mr Carr and thank you
