I read the book and almost 3 months later I have still not smoked. I was smoking for 32 years! It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be! Can’t recommend it enough!
Thank you for your gift to this world. I quit smoking just before my 22th birhday after 6 years in this awful, unnecessary cloud of evil.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My name is Jennifer Xxxxx and I am from the city of Wxxx in North Carolina. I am originally from New Jersey where the rest of my family still resides. I am 23 years old and I am proud to announce that I have freed myself from chains of nicotine.
I am the youngest of five, ages ranging from my 26 year old brother to my 39 year old sister. I took a pull of my first cigarette when I was 14 years old. I knew it was bad but my curiosity reigned over my logic and ever since I was lured into the “subtle trap.” I first picked up your book (or should I say e-book, proud owner of a kindle) and I knew everything you were saying was true, and I knew you were on to something. I was about 40% through when I just stopped reading (e-books tell you how far you are into the read). I was at Newark Airport, flying back to NC to start my very first job. I was leaving behind my sister who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I succumbed to a cigarette after my brother-in-law picked me up due to a major delay. I think at that point I was aware of the trap and I didn’t care. I almost gave up on you.
Before I knew it, 3 months flew by. I was at work one day on a break and decided to continue on reading. I am SO happy I did. 40% didn’t give me quite what I needed to quit. Not only did I not reach that optimal revelation level but I also began enjoying the process of being a nonsmoker.
Today is 1 month smoke free, which happens to be the same day I got to 100% into the book. I feel like a different person. My blues are more bluer, my food is more tastier, the outdoors is even more refreshing to me. I still deal with some lingering consequences of being such a fool for nearly 8 years, but with each cough I am reminded that I am that much closer to it all being done.
I am handing out a post-it with your name and the title of the book on it to one of my managers, with hopes that you help another smoker. Thank you so much.
All the best,
Hello. I am a 25 y/o male from the USA, and at the time I’m writing this, I have been a non-smoker for 6 weeks. I was a pack-a-day smoker until I read this book. I was very skeptical when I first picked it up, but I kept an open mind going into it. By the time I was halfway through the book, I was speeding through JUST so I could have that Final Cigarrette and say “Good Riddance” to my addiction for good! I smoked the last cigarette and tossed the rest of what was left of my pack in the dumpster and never looked back. It’s important to follow Carr’s method exactly as he lays it out. It really is the only way to be successful. Allen Carr’s book has certainly changed my life. I can’t say that about every book I’ve read. I’m recommending this book to whoever I can. Thank you for helping me gain control of my life back.

My husband and I read your stop smoking book about two years ago. We both stopped easily after around 30 years of smoking each. I had tried everything but nothing worked. Reading Allen Carr’s book made us realize quitting is actually easy – that was the crunch. I have passed the book on to someone else to lend. Also, it turns out that two of my sisters had used the book also, years before. We had no idea of each other’s method. So there you are – that’s four people I can account for.
Thank you so very much – I wish I had read it earlier and saved myself an awful lot of life and quitting smoking attempts trauma.
Yay. 3 days. loved the book.

I would never have succeeded without your book. I quit 2 weeks ago and i am sure I will manage.

Yipppeeee I’m a non smoker!!!
One of our guests forgot your book in our restaurant and never came back.
I started smoking 22. I’m 29 I smokers say to me that I am not a heavy smoker almost called a social smoker. Which I never believed. So anyways I took your book because I absolutely hated me smoking especially when none in my family smokes ( and i could never do it front of them)
So I like to thank you and let you know how happy I am after reading your book I no longer need to feel bad because I simply understand that I don’t need the social breaks out of work to have a cigaret.
Oh WoW !!!!
Having attended your session on 6th September in Birmingham, I wanted to send a note of thanks.
I had looked forward to the day ever since I booked, having attended clinics in the past for smoking. It was a great surprise to learn that sessions were also available for alcohol. Had I known, I would have booked a lot sooner, and I will be sure to spread the word.
Anyway, thanks to an excellent day delivered by you, I now see alcohol for what it really is. This has already changed my life. I have no desire to drink whatsoever, and have been rejoicing ever since I left the room. I cannot thank you enough for helping me get my life back.
I don’t know what else to say really: Words can’t describe how happy and confident I feel, now I see the trap for what it is. I particularly liked the way you talked about “The Shawshank Redemption” as that really brought it home, and will stay with me.
Please keep up the good work as you have the gift to help people see things as they really are. A life time of brainwashing removed in a day. Marvellous!
With sincere thanks

I bought Allen Carr’s book – The Easy Way to Stop Smoking. I had tried going cold turkey, cutting back, the e-cigarettes, everything. Then I read about this book and all the great reviews about how people just stopped smoking after finishing the book. I truly did not believe it would work for my but by the second chapter I could feel something in my pyche shifting to a new way of thinking and 1/2 thru the book I was pretty much forcing myself to smoke (as Mr. Carr advises you to keep smoking until the end of the book). I am now smoke free – no nicotine pangs, no withdrawal, no bad moods, cravings nothing but smiles. Thank you Allen Carr for writing this book. After smoking for over 20 years and not being able to quit on my own – all it took was reading your book and having a good time while doing it. God bless you and your team! No more $5 a pack every day in Columbus, Ohio – USA!!
Happy to say that this Easyway method worked perfectly also for me. After 19 years as stupid smoker (about 10 cigarettes a day) now I am glad to say that I am a Non-smoker!!
And the good thing is that now I don’t think anymore about cigarettes, everything thanks to the ebook I downloaded for my smartphone, few euros paid but they saved my life. How blind and stupid I was!!
The easy way kills with truth and understanding the desire for disorder. When the is no desire to smoke you never smoke again.
As for me I have quit smoking and drinking, and today I set for a raw food life. And I am on my way for a freedom.
I want to say that It works. Thank you.
I am writing to say thank you ever so much for curing me of my horrible addiction!! I was a smoker for about 16 years, smoking around 20 a day, and although I had tried “cold turkey,” and patches etc, I never really believed that I was ever going to be able to stop. I was also under the impression that if it ever did happen, it would be one of the most difficult things I would ever face.
Not only has the Allen Carr clinic completely changed my perception and way of looking at smoking, it has been one of the easiest and most enjoyable things I have ever done. I am simply in awe at how easy it is, and I cannot stress that enough. The more I think about it, the happier I am to have stopped smoking. The more people that give it a go, the better. I have written to my MP in an attempt to raise awareness of the amazing work that you are doing, and it has been forwarded on to Anna Soubry. Hopefully in time the NHS can stop wasting money on ineffective attempts at helping people, and concentrate on the only method that does work!
I came to the clinic in Raynes Park early January this year, so nearly 9 months have passed now, and I have no concern about smoking.
I sincerely do hope that smokers the world over can learn what I have. Thank you again.
Thank you very much.
I’ve just read the easyway book for the second time (after restarting smoking after 4 years).
It was the only way I quit before and it has given me the understanding and confidence to quit for good this time.
I just needed to remind myself of the golden rules.
You have changed my life.

my name is mark fairminer,i started smoking at 11 yrs old,1972,(unfourtunatly !)and become a heavy smoker, cigarettes, roll ups some illegal 1’s to.
I tried several times over the years to “give up” ,the problem was I had a very bad temper and I mean bad,i nearly headbutted a copper once on my first day of “giving up”,it was blind fury,i come to my senses and explain to him and he gave me ciggy!.
I was always losing my temper on every attempt of “giving up” and my temper was bad!,i thought I would always be a smoker because of this.
Changing the subject a bit I also developed a fear of flying from 1985- 2004,i started to have panic attacks at even the thought of flying!.
The only option I had was to go on a flight simulater to overcome my fear, but I found out that it would cost me £2000,+,no chance!i didn’t have £20!.
So I went to a local bookshop thinking some one somewhere must have written about this, and they had,Allen carr, enjoy flying, what a great book,so funny but true.
Since then I have taken a flight around the world 1 way,Hong Kong,Australia,New Zealand,Fiji,U.S,A,then back to blighty (UK).,51 hrs flying,no problem.
If that was going to work, what about the smoking I thought, its been 8 yrs now as a non-smoker,i will admit I have had a couple just to see how it feels,it was horrible and I know I wont smoke again.
I’ve also done is drinking book too,i hardly drink at all.

My husband, Miguel went to Rob’s session in Stoptober last year (2013). I had to drag him kicking and screaming into the session at 9 am at Hinkley Island Hotel and when he emerged at 2 pm that same day, he had smoked his last cigarette. We went out for a late lunch that day and had our first meal ever where he didnt leave me in the restaurant and go outside for a cigarette. The following day we went to the supermarket and as we went in he laughed and looked at me, pointing to a man standing at the door smoking… he said to me “I used to do that”. He hasn’t looked back since. Thankyou Rob. Lifechanging.
I found Allen’s book at the Library on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013. I wasn’t looking to quit smoking that day, but his book looked interesting and I took it home. I started to read it about 3:00 p.m. and by 8:30 p.m. I smoked my last cigarette! RUN, don’t walk to get this book and set yourself free! I am so grateful and happy now. Don’t suffer any more!
Hello from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. A friend lent me this book. I have been a non smoker for 6 years wonderful years now. Just this book is all you need and positive thoughts that you will be a non smoker at the end of it. Hard to believe. I recommend this to anyone I know. No tricks or horror stories we have all heard . That is not enough to motivate . The cost is not enough. We always find an excuse to quit tomorrow… When I was reading the book I would highlight certain paragraphs that I would refer back to if I felt I was having a weak moment. It didn’t take long until I never had to look at the book again. I can’t put in to words how this book has helped me. No more worries of where can I smoke ? Who will smoke with me. On and on I could go. A smoker always puts that cigarette first. Nothing feels better than air in your lungs. No coughing wheezing, Shortness of breath on excersion. I feel great !! Try it . You will do it too !! You will be smoke free for ever. Best of luck Lynn :)

next week September 20, 2013 will be one year after finishing allen’s book and not a puff has passed my lips!! The amazing thing is that I spend the winter in Th Dominican Republic where everyone smokes everywhere. I can sit in a small bar with all my smoker friends and not be bothered even having a few beers odes not make me want to start up again. Only downfall is now I shun smokers and consider them weak, I can’t stop spreading the word and hopefully when they are ready they will pick up the bible (allens not the other one, this one works!)
I live in northern Canada in the summer.
(Chicago) Friends in England sent us Allan Carr’s book three years ago. How dare they tell us to stop smoking. August 19, 2013 @10pm we finished the book. Haven’t smoked since. Thank you.
I had smoked for 22 yrs and my doctor really wanted me to at least cut down before a scheduled surgery. I told a friend that I was determined; that I would do anything, patches, gum etc and he said, “you don’t need all that. I’ll give you something to listen to” which ended up being the book on mp3.
I started listening just out of curiousity on a thursday morning before work, finished listening the next evening, smoking all the way through. When I put out that last cigarette at 10:30 pm exactly 2 yrs ago, I was happy and excited. I knew I’d never smoke again.
After you’re done with this program, you’ll see cigarettes differently and won’t have one single excuse to continue with them. It works!!!
I have just finished reading the book. I have a feeling it may have taken me a bit longer than it’s supposed to: a full year.
I started smoking in 2011, “casually” of course, while on vacation in Italy. “I’ll never buy a pack when I get back to Canada; it’s four times the price!” Needless to say, I bought a pack and had been a full time smoker since then until November 2012, when I decided I didn’t want to smoke outside in -30*C anymore during the winter. I used Champix – a synthetic nicotine replacement that I’m sure your team is all too familiar with – and it worked great: I had quit! Winter ended and I was going on vacation to California in April of this year. For whatever reason, for the month leading up to my vacation, I had started to crave a cigarette again. Six months less a few days, completely clean, and here I was: I had myself convinced that I was missing out, and that I desperately wanted to be a smoker again. Most of my inner circle of friends are smokers; some more than others. Needless to say, I started smoking again. What’s interesting to me is that I quite literally went from smoking zero on Wednesday, to two on Thursday, to probably at least 15 or 20 on Friday, and had continued on at a nearly-a-pack-a-day pace since April until a week ago. September 3rd, to be precise. My Father’s 64th birthday and coincidentally (not really) also his first official day of retirement. I know the book says that using something like this to quit generally doesn’t work, and I agree. It was a convenient day and my father decided he was going to kick his cigar-a-day habit as well.
I haven’t had a cigarette since then and am quite obviously feeling great. Even better than the feeling of not having bad breath, coughing, etc, is the fact that I now KNOW that I am no longer a smoker. I have no desire to ever smoke again, and quitting has actually been enjoyable, as you have said. It’s actually somewhat comical how easy it is to overcome the pangs once one has made a firm decision to rid oneself of “the foul weed.”
The fact is that I was only a smoker for two years. “Only.” Yeah, right; like that makes a difference. Even my sister used this as a rebuttal yesterday when I told her about how easy it was to quit. She is attempting to quit using the willpower method, and lasted only a day or two. I was a full, full, full time smoker. I have the privilege of being able to step out at almost any point during the day and have a smoke, usually with a colleague. Fifteen to twenty per day. And then zero. It feels great.
I’m sure you and your team have received many of these emails, but I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude and give you one more piece of ammunition in your fight against the disease

Hello,I don’t know if this is the way to write to Allen Carr but if it is i just want to thank him for writing that book. I’m from Romania I’m 23 years old and I smoked for 8 years. One day I walked in a bar with my boyfriend and I asked a neutral friend if she quit smoking and she said “Yes I quit after i read this book.I was stunned honestly but I was so desperate to quit so i begin to read it. In this night I finished his book and I am very enthusiastic about this change. I have enough with that horrible smoke and those days in which I was outside smoking a cigaret shivering. “Little monster” was the only thing that I wasn’t able to control. I have wanted this change over a year because I am thinning that I want to be a mother some day and I don’t want to poison my child with this stuff. And of course I want to be able to live free and enjoy life because if you are not healthy the money doesn’t count. I was very happy to find out that I wasn’t the only one who gone throw all that suffering with this addiction and you are right those campanies against somking are useless. So ..if you have a way to contact Mister Allen please tell him that I thank him and even in a small country such as Romania his words are listen.
Bye!Have a nice life! I apologize to disturb you and for grammatical errors .

Thank you for opening my eyes. I am half way through “Allan carr’s easyway to stop smoking”. I stopped 6 days prior to even hear of the book, and those 6 days were filled with, anger, frustration, it was a nightmare. Then a study mate referes the book to me, I borrow it imidiatly, and start reading. And already now… I’m a non-smoker, and I’m feeling the benifits already, and if this is only the beginning! WoW! I will do my best to spread knowledge to the friends/family I have that smokes, and help them to become free. Because it’s really really sad to see what I see now. That we infact are killing us self slowly but sturdy as a smokers. And that the spiral, and brainwash is so intense and selfe-enhancing that it is. Anyways, i just really wanna thank you, from the bottom of my hearth, my soul! I finaly did it, I am a non-smoker! And that, must be one of the biggest events in my life since starting smoking ;)! THANKS!
Yours trouly Morten

I am now a non-smoker due to the EASY WAY method. It’s been 5 days and I feel great! I love how the book explains that after you put out the final cigarette that if you have doubts you will be waiting for “nothing to happen.”
I also live the fact the book explains how it’s not giving up anything because there is nothing to give up!
I was very sick with pneumonia and reading the little book from my phone has given me motivation and a different incite.
Anyone who wants to quit, please read the books over and over!
Just after 5 days, I have more energy, better mood, better concentration and breathe better with less asthma issues.
Allan Carr is a lifesaver. I know without a doubt I will never smoke again. Although, I chose to use the patch too, I know I wil never smoke again and I thank the little book for giving me a totally different way of thinking.
Thank you so much!
I quit using the books. I’d planned my quit date to coincide with a family holiday but as the day drew closer I have to almost force myself to keep smoking as I hadn’t finished the book! I felt such a sense of relief when I finished the book and then smoked my final cigarette, it really was a feeling of finally being free! It’s only been just under a month but I’ve been back to my normal routine, even been to a BBQ with family and friends smoking all around me, and I can honestly say I’ve not even had the slightest niggle or pang that I’d want one of those nasty things. I’ve quit before but it’s never felt like this, I know in my soul, this time it’s forever!!

Thanks to Allen Carr for adding days (and hopefully months and years) to my life. I do not know why doctors prescribe more nicotine instead of this wonderful, effective book. Mr. Carr has been a blessing to my life and I cannot tell enough people how and why I quit. Spread the news and believe the hype!!!!
Never thought I could quit having smoked for over 50 years and several failed attempts to quit or cut down. Having read THE BOOK I quit after reluctantly smoking my last cigarette which by the end of the book I really did not wish to smoke. I then threw my Cigs, Lighters, refills, flints and all the paraphinalia including electric cigs and chargers. I have now been a non-smoker for over 2 months and have just put £300 savings in a roll and put it in my Santa sock. Am feeling great thank you Allen.
Thanks for your wonderful book
After 17 years of smoking I have now made the decision to stop. I am already a happy non smoker
I can’t thank you enough
Thanks for a different perspective!!
I don’t know why I’m writing this but I thought I’d write out the positive things about this book and how it opened my mind :)
Long story short, I tried my first cigarette when I was 13, of course it was peer pressure. I didn’t even want to do it in the first place but my friend kept pressuring me, so I did it. It was horrible the first time, but few days later, I felt ‘cool’ that I could smoke cigarettes and we were both smoking away. I didn’t smoke for a bit but then when I was 15 and a lot of my friends were smoking, we would get together every week in the park or something and secretly smoked. This got me hooked, when I was 16.. that summer, I started smoking every day. This increased to 10 cigarettes per day. 4 years later and I was still smoking. I’m 20 now. During these 4 years, I did smoke 10 a day but once, or even several times a week, on nights out, I would smoke more, I could do a whole pack.
I always had the intention of stopping – but I did exactly what you were describing in the book. I said ‘I can stop whenever I want.’ But it was all talk, no action. I was lying to myself that I wasn’t addicted and that it was a habit when in fact, it is a drug. I hate nicotine now. For a long time, I thought that nicotine didn’t bother me. I just wanted the cigarettes, the feel of them in my mouth and fingers. I was completely oblivious to the facts that it does in fact decrease your confidence and make you nervous. See, I never knew, or thought of that until I’ve read your book. I smoked cigarettes after every meal, when I’d be working, stressed or bored. And even when i’d watch TV – I’d see a character having one, enjoying it, so I’d have one too. But really, there is nothing enjoyable about that. It is brainwashing, as you said in the book. It is all just stupid and I can’t believe I was smoking.
I started thinking about the pros and cons of smoking as I read the book, and duh..there are no pros. It is a poison and it is worse than heroin for that matter. The statistics are just crazy and the fact that the tobacco industry makes so much money makes me shake my head in disbelief.
Anyway, I got your book over a year ago. I read probably the first chapter and then thought ‘meh, I don’t want to stop smoking yet…maybe after few years when I stop going to music festivals’. See, I couldn’t imagine myself not smoking at music festivals..I go to them every year and the image of having a pint in one hand, and cigarette in the other while listening to music seemed perfect to me. I was stupid. Cigarettes taste like crap and only make things worse. Another thing that didn’t help is that my mum is a smoker, and my dad as well.. so I thought I can get away with it.
And another factor was that.. in the country where I live, cigarettes are extremely cheap (probably £1.7, which is a huge difference compared to England and other countries) so the money was never a problem. Also, everybody smokes everywhere. There are no rules to not smoke in restaurants or bars or clubs.. Smoking corners everywhere.. And a lot of my friends smoke too.
Now, I’ve seen people do the whole cold turkey thing where they would have withdrawals and think of it as ‘damn, i have to get through this, I wish I could have a cigarette,’ of course they started smoking again. Every two weeks, a friend of mine said ‘I stopped smoking. Next time I saw him, he’d be smoking like a chimney’ I thought that was quite pathetic. I wanted to stop as well but I knew I had to be ready to decide and make it my final decision.
My mum and grandma both went to the hypnosis session about 10 years ago, my gran stopped and never had another cigarette, but my mum started again. Of course she blamed it on the stress or whatever. And I don’t want to do that, ew. I’m not gonna have that odd cigarette or ‘just one..one won’t hurt’ I really want to stop and enjoy life as a non-smoker.
Overall, I’m quite a healthy person but I was still smoking. My gran died of cancer a few years ago. It started as a breast cancer but then it spread through her entire body. The idea of cancer, or me having it scares me. I really liked the part in the book where you said how smokers never thought they wouldn’t get cancer, that it wouldn’t happen to them. But then it did. And they couldn’t go back and change it. I really related to that because every time I’m sick, I think ‘oh gosh, I can’t wait til I’m cured again or what would I give to feel healthy again!’ even though it was just temporary, I felt crap.. right?
So yeah that point really made me think .. that if I did get cancer, there would be nothing I could do. And it was good to start now so my life wouldn’t get messed up if I continued smoking, there were other reasons of course.
Anyway, something struck me the day before yesterday and I realized I HAVE to stop because I don’t want to lead my life this way anymore. I started reading the book, read half of it and went to work. Just that got me thinking and so when i was at work I didn’t smoke as much (but didn’t stop as you said, I waited til the end and followed the instructions!) and was excited to get home, finish the book and stop smoking! I already felt sorry for my coworkers who were going outside to smoke every hour.
So yeah, that’s the story. As I was finishing the book, I made vows to myself and believed that I won’t smoke again and even found myself saying stuff out loud. I couldn’t wait til I could smoke my last cigarette so I could say ‘BYE! Never wanna see you again you filthy monster!’
I feel really good about it, I’m staying optimistic and happy and feel like I was given a second chance as a non-smoker. As if I was 13 years old again and got the chance to NOT SMOKE. Sorry if this is a bit rude, but screw nicotine. I was nicotine’s bitch for years.. it was like a toxic relationship. I was its slave, giving myself in to it.. it was like a booty call every time I had a cigarette. And I don’t want to be submissive to nicotine.
This book has completely changed my perspective and I am happy already how my mind has been opened and exposed to the other stuff regarding smoking that I never really gave thought to, and stuff that was subliminally in my head. I am now thinking in the way like ‘thank god, i am out of this prison’ instead of wondering how long i can last without a cigarette. There is NOTHING i can gain from it.
I will give this book to read to my mum and other people that I think might appreciate it that want to stop smoking. And I believe that I kicked this addiction in the butt as I am a NON SMOKER now! I know that there may be some moments in the near future that will give me cravings for some nicotine, especially in the next few days, but I will get over it and enjoy it that I am not giving in when it’s so disgusting. Plus it’s only a physical thing.
Will write again maybe in 6 months or so how things will turn out, but I am very positive. Thought I would write my feedback :)
Hello Mr. Carr,
My name is Laura G, I’m 24 and I’m from Barcelona.
I just want to say you THANK YOU because I quit smoking two months ago. Your book helped me a lot.
You are doing an amazing job, and I’m sure that many people is so grateful like me.
I have used EASYWAY to stop smoking and it really worked. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to finish reading the book. But, a month and a half later I was at this party and, long story short, I took a few drags from a cigarette . A few days later I ended up smoking one pack a day, feeling sick and miserable – which is what happens if you don’t follow the rules.
I read the EASYWAY 2 more times but it didn’t work. BUT that’s how I found out about Allen Carr`s other book – THE ONLY WAY TO STOP SMOKING PERMANENTLY, which came as a blessing. I haven’t smoked since and I NEVER WILL. So, if you too have failed, you get a second chance – don’t waste any more time.
So, thank you, Allen Carr for saving my life. I can’t really believe it’s taking so long to cure the world of smoking. IT IS SO EASY!!
Smoked since high school. Just retired. Nephew turned me onto this. He went to a seminar. I did the webcast and bought a book, just to have. Unbelievable. Simple and pure. Thank you to those who mke this happen!!
Palo Alto, Ca USA.
I have been completely nicotine and smoke free for over a year now thanks to The Easyway to Stop Smoking. I had tried nicotine replacement and prescription pills and the Easyway is the only program that worked. I can’t describe to you how wonderful it is to be free from smoking!

I smoked approx 10 cigarettes daily since I was 17 years old, in 2008 after my father passed away I found myself smoking nearly 60 cigarettes a day. I was so unhappy, and a friend told me about Allen Carr. I did a little research into the it, but was taking a leap into faith, praying for help. My health was really bad due to the excessive smoking, and I was finding it difficult to breath. I was really unhappy, I knew I had nothing to loose, and everything to gain if it worked. I did the course, and have never looked back. I am 42 years old, and have not smoked for 5 years. I am so proud of myself, and am thankful to Allan Carr daily for allowing me to live to see my grandchildren grow up, and for allowing me to regain good health again. I have told many, many people about Allen Carr, as they saved my life.
I am 20 years old girl from Finland and I smoked about 6 years. I know I started too young, but cigarettes just got me.
I tried quitting so many times that I just got tired of it. I forced myself to believe that I don’t even want to quit and I love cigarettes.
My manager in my work told me that she quit smoking. I was so interested and asked her, how did she do it? She even smoked more than me!
She told me about this book and told me it only cost about 15€. I thought that it only costs as much as two cigarette packs! I had to try this!
So I bought this book and started to read it. I didn’t first really believe this book. But then I thought myself “Jasmin, you’re too negative! Think positive and believe even for a second what this book says. If you don’t quit after this, nothing changes.”
And so I did.
Yesterday I finished this book. And oh my god, the closer I was finishing the book, cigarettes became more sickening and sickening.
And when I smoked my last cigarette, I was so sure, this was the last.
After reading that book and smoking my last cigarette, I even headed to a bar with my friends. I thought what if being little bit drunk made me smoke again? NO! I don’t want to give myself for those toughts! HELL NO!
I drank and even if my friends tried to say “you can smoke even one!”. HELL NO! NO NO NO! Why do they even want me to smoke? What do they lose if I don’t smoke? I still came with them outside when they smoked, but I just didn’t.
I’m so proud of myself.
And today, when I woke up I didn’t even have hangover. I didn’t taste all the million cigarettes in my mouth, what I would normally taste. Because yesterday, I didn’t smoke those million cigarettes!
Thank you Allen Carr! I hope this comment comes all the way to you, ‘cause I’m more than grateful to you!
If this comment never comes to your sight.. Well… I know you’re still happy that you can cure so many smokers!
Thank you all, who made that book to come alive! And even got translated in finnish!

I am a US citizen living in Spain for over 28 years. I started to smoke many things at a young age, I think around 16 years old. First marijuana and then to go along with this cigarettes, mainly the brand Kool. We thought it was cool… Then the habit developed and here I am 40 years later giving up this terrible habit. Here is Spain probably more socially acceptable to smoke than in the US. I have smoked probably on average around a pack a day. Since several years ago I begin to try and quit. About 10 years ago I went to the doctor. He gave me pills for the anxiety and also nicotine gum to chew. This worked for about 30 days and I was back at it. Then I cut down and started smoking the tobacco that you roll. Since around 2 years ago I had been able to cut down. I was told about the Allen Carr book many years ago by a doctor I met thru my father-in-law and then a good friend of mine also talked about the book and he quit 10 years ago. During the recent wedding of my daughter I finally told my wife it was time to quit (I had a terrible morning smokers cough) so after the wedding I ordered the book from Amazon.com. It came and I started to read it. Once I started it I knew that this one the one. It took me about 2 weeks to finish the book. I read it very carefully and also was a little afraid to really quit. It has now been almost 4 weeks, and I am doing very well, thank you Allen Carr. I read alittle of the book every morning just to keep it fresh in my mind. Have already recommended it to several people. Thanks to you all, especially Allen Carr for his book and help. I am now a non-smoker….
Just wanted to send an email to say thank you.
My mother and I came to your alcohol seminar back in March.
Mum did drink again after this and we arranged for her to come to a back-up session. This was on the 8th May and I am pleased to say she hasn’t had a drink since.
Previous to coming to your sessions I had tried everything I could think of to stop her drinking, (which was destroying her, physically and mentally). From A.A meetings for her and Al- anon meetings for me ( where I literally tore my hair out and cried in front of them all when they told me there was nothing I could do to help my Mum and that I had to accept that fact) I even went down the ‘family intervention’ route, which was just cruel really.
So finally with your method I think we have found a solution. At the end of May Mum turned 70 and with each sober week ( months now) that passes I can see how much better she is, I feel like I have my Mum back again to the way she was before the awful drinking days. In fact today, I watched Mum drive my four year old daughter to her house for their first ever sleepover together. Something that was so far away from happening before. As you can imagine this means so much to us all.
I think the messages that you deliver at the clinic are invaluable. I know that Mum’s desire to drink has gone and I can’t see that changing.
I’m pleased to say that I haven’t felt the need for a drink since coming to your March seminar. So it’s worked for me as well. I have been to a Hen do, a wedding and on holiday since, all without the need to drink and all these occasions have been infinitely better when not drinking, as has life in general.
So thank you very much Chris. I hope you and your colleagues keep up the good work!

Thank you for writing: “Allen Carr’s Easy Way To Stop Smoking.”
It was an excellent read and I have stopped smoking as of April 24, 2013, the day I finished the book.
It was as if someone was speaking to me the way I speak to others, undoing, chapter by chapter, every argument I have ever made to justify smoking.
At the end, I felt like an idiot, and now am very happy as a non-smoker.
Thanks again. I will pass on the recommendation to others, starting with my daughter Rachel.

I’ve smoked for 30 years and am only 43 years old! I didnt think I would EVER get free. Once i fully understood the trap, i laughed out loud and from that moment on, was no longer a smoker. I am no longer addicted to nicotine! It is THE most dubious and diabolical charade! (the trap..).
Thank you Allen Carr!!!
(BTW-Not ONE withdraw pang!!!….Not one.)

I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I am 27 years old and smoked for 12 years, through 2 pregnancies. If it wasnt for Allen Carr’s book I would have never stopped smoking. I quit on 30 April 2013 (4months and counting) and have no desire to ever be a smoker again.
Thank you Allen Carr. Because you lived, many of us have benefit from your revelation!

I’m from New Orleans but live in Gulfport, MS. I smoked for about 18 years and my husband smoked for 40.
We both read the book and we both quit smoking (quit all nicotine) on January 2nd, 2012 and have never looked back.
We have no problem going out to clubs or bars nor do either of us have a problem sitting right next to a smoker.
I kept waiting for the nicotine monster to show his little head and he never did.
We quit by reading the book, The Easy Way to Stop Smoking and we are so thankful!
